OOC: The Cabin.

Okay the idea is a group of friends go to a secluded cabin in the middle of nowhere that belongs to one of their grand fathers or something.

So when they get there, being young, they snoop around and find a box. In the box are several odd items... They will be announced in thread when we get to it.

And because of these items, spookiness and horror ensues.

The cabin was an inheritance, given at the twins' twenty first birthday by their long deceased godfather, the reclusive Jeremiah Winthrop.

Emily and her geeky brother, Howard Preston Lovecraft, are at odds over this behest. She thinks it would be a grand adventure, always the romantic at heart (not to mention a budding antique hound). He thinks it will keep him away from the television and his movies for WAY too long. Not to mention, he's seen too many Jason movies for his own good.

Thinking (at least to mollify Howard) that there is safety in numbers, they invite a few friends and head for Rose Lake.

I'll find a pic for when we arrive and will describe it then. Okay?

Descript: Howards knowledge of all things cinimatic horror is borderline obsessive. there's barely an hour goes by that he can't help but make some reference to one or another, or his ever endless set of 'how to survive a horror movie' rules... He's a virgin, only because he truly believes that being so is viable protection from anything that would otherwise slaughter him. He had several chances to lose his virginity during his summers at Sci Fi camp. His best shot being with a slightly chubby, but still attractive girl dressed in a slave leia costume.
