OOC: Sea Knights

In the year 2021the worlds polar ice caps started to melt causing massive floods. The armies of the qworld seezing the oppourtunity build huge navies, some so big theat there wern't enough able sea men in the nation to man them. Then in then in 2035 then ice caps fully melted and the world was 95% water, pirates emerged from now where, stealing the navy ships and reaking havock every where. A small rebel fleet kown as Aqua Fleet has emerged too, but there goal is peace not war. Now, fifteen years later Aqua fleet has becone a force to be reckoned with and is becoming the dominate force on the seas with their carrier the AFS Liberty.

ok i need a fleet commander, 2 more squadron commanders (fighters), any pirates thet you want to be and some other stuff that i'll get later. P.S. ill have my character(s) later too

He started flying at an early age and loved it, When Pirates attacked his hometown he was saved by a fleet commander named Carlos Sanchez, an top ranking officer in the freedom fleet known as Aqua Fleet. Mac soon repayed the favor by becoming one of the best pilots in the fleet. mac hav 13 kills and is still flying strong.

Captain Devin Hollenback currently owns and operates the Mermaid, a fast running ship that steals mostly from transport and supply ships that run to different places.

He harbors a crew of three. Dastardly fellows who would follow Devin to the ends of the ocean if he asked them.

And, several times he has come close to just that. Walks with a limp from a shotgun wound in his side years ago, but otherwise tall lean and handsome.

His crew is open to anyone that wants to play, otherwise I'll npc them myself.

Curious as to tech level. Are we talking about the way tech is today or any advancements in tech?

Pirate Captain Ellis "Fair Trade" "Pig Roaster" Bellamy
Ship: Hydra
Description: Ellis Bellamy is a decendant of Infamous Pirate Samuel Bellamy. Ellis fancies himself as a treasure hunter but will do whatever he can to turn a profit. His only weakness is his crew and women. He is fiercy loyal to his crew and expects the same. Any disobedience is met with swift and decisive action.
Physical: Ellis Bellamy is not a handsome man. He is 6 feet tall and carries some weight. While it is mostly muscle mass, he has the layers of fat from his love of meat and beer.
Weapons of Choice: He carries a dagger passed down from his famous ancenstor. He has grown up using this and is considered an expert in its use. Ellis also carries a Beretta 92 which was passed down from another ancestor who served in the UN forces (no special distinction). Ellis is also an expert marksman with a sniper rifle, a skill learned from his younger days. He does not own a sniper rifle. The one he did own was lost in a raid on one of his hideouts. He is still very bitter about the loss.
History:
Ellis learned about his famous ancestor in his early teens. From there, he was determined to be famous. He befriended several thieves and learned the skills of the trade. There he graduated to becoming an assassin. His skill with his dagger and his increase in ranged marksmanship earned him a quick reputation in the underworld. It is not known why he retired from being a sniper. He next emerged when chaos broke out and pirates began ruling the seas. He has been known to help those in need and at the same time steal from others in need. He is only trusted by those that know him in the underworld. Other pirates avoid him when they can.
Ellis is known as "Fair Trade" by other pirates as he sets fair prices. Of course there remains the profit he must earn. (It is all profit if it costs him nothing to acquire it.) Prices also fluctuates depending on how much trouble and pain his crew goes through to acquire the item(s) in trade. Anyone trying to steal from him or short him of his "fair trade" is usually found sooner or later tied by their hands and feet over a fire, hence his other name "Pig Roaster".
Ellis has earned his crew through hardship and loyalty. He has personally picked his crew and have weathered many adventures with them. His crew is fiercly loyal to Ellis and have sacrificed themselves to him and the other crew. He is currently looking for a few more members to fill out his roster.
Ellis enjoys the company of women but if they are in his crew, they are hands off. He has a string of women in various ports. It is surprising that he has so many given his looks and choice of professions.

Knight Captain Thomas "Silent Hawk" Strong
Ship: Sea Sprite
Description: Thomas has no famous ancestors. He grew up learning about the sea from varous sailors. He joined the navy and earned his wings through hard work. He had a distinguished career in the fewest failed missions. Since leaving the military, he has been working as a mercenary earning his way through honest commissions. He has even had a few contracts with the military in various humanitarian missions which he accomplished with distinction.
Physical: Thomas is an average looking man. He does not have a thin frame and does not have a thick frame. He is a little more than average in build. He keeps himself healthy and somewhat toned. Thomas stands 5 feet 11 inches tall.
Weapons of Choice: Thomas does not have a love for firearms, preferring melee combat. He is an expert at hand to hand and unarmed combat. This comes from his desire to stay healthy. He is proficient in handguns and rifles.
History:
Thomas grew up in a fishing town where many ships come to trade. His father was the harbor master so he was able to speak with many captains while growing up. Many of those captains taught Thomas a few tricks of the trade which he used when joining the Navy. When he was in the Navy, he discovered the wonders of flight and worked hard in getting up in the air. Eventually, Thomas earned his wings and was considered an expert in the air as he is on the sea.
Thomas earned his name "Silent Hawk" through a small campaign in which he and his crew on ship or in the air surprised the target. Their attachs were always silent and decissive.

I'm fine with playing either side. Can I decide when there is a better tally of who is playing which side? This way if there are too few on one side, I'll play the other to help balance it out.

Rolf Thorsem objective is to find dry land with a small amount of people and protection. To invade and take control and use as a base to sorte from and to return for repairs and refit his fleet. To find a place for his "people", the ones that joined his banner. (note. He has several salvage, tenders, and floating dry docks to bring on)
