This will be the OOC section for the Ring of Eternity thread. Just post your character and the description and other things. There will be 2 NPC players.
I'll fill in a little bit of the blanks about lands that have become extinct, and lands that still are around in this world.
Heingaria(Hin-Gare-ia):
This used to be a small country located in the northern part of the continent. The country's recent aggressive military policy, however, has given it the power to overtake neighboring countries. Two factions exist within the country. One is led by the Elders, who are bent on military aggression. The other is the Royal faction, a group of people who are relatively peaceable. The Elders have the actual power, while the king is unfortunately a mere figurehead.
Aldine(Al-Deen):
A nation that once existed on the mainland. It was mainly a farming and agricultural country, but immediately after Matthew D. Ross III too over the throne, it quickly became a militant power. The country rapidly extended its borders, invading and taking over neighboring countries. The king mysteriously disappeared after the invasion of Solcia, and eventually his country ceased to exist.
Solcians (Soul-cians):
The people who used to live in the central part of the continent. It is said that they were able to use magic powers. These magical ablities were based on the elements Fire, Water, Light, Dark, Earth, and Wind. These magics have been believed to have ceased in existence also. Theirs was a peaceful country, choosing to maintain neutrality among its neighbors. To avoid incasion of the Aldine forces, they retreated to the "Island of No Return", their sacred land. However, continued pursuit by the king of Aldine resulted in the people of Solcia disappearing into history or hiding their magical abilities and living in secret on the Island of No Return.
The Elders:
The name given to the four people who have the actual power over Heingaria. They are the ones who wrested power from the inexperienced young king and forced him to become a figurehead, so they could control the kingdom. They are searching for a source of great power with which to conquer the continent.
Island Of No Return:
A solitary island located north of the region of Nilvia, which lies in the northern part of the continent. It is an island held sacred by the people of Solcia. Nilvia is essentially a cold area, but the complicated oceanic currents in the region result in varied habitats and geography on the island. Mt. Voldana, which is found in the eastern portion of the island, is a small but active volcano. Several eruptions have been recorded in recent history. With the shifting of underground plates due to volcanic activity, the island undergoes constant change. This is assumed to be the cause of the island's complicated natural environment, which is unlike that found elsewhere.
Other Info:
A handful of sailors who have drifted through the area claim to have seen mysterious flying demons. Some have even sworn that they've seen dragons, saying they aren't just legends, but are truly real. The young king and the Elders have heard of this, and the Elders believe that there is a ring that grants enternity to those who own it. This is the reason they've sent a group of military leaders and a few villagers to the island to search it for this ring. The king and the leader of the Heingaria militant forces have sent their own group of explorers to the island, to make sure the Elders aren't using this power for themselves, but for the good of Heingaria.
Npc Characters:
Name: Ian Martin, King of Heingaria
Age: 18
Info: Due to the abrupt death of his father, he assumed the throne at the age of 15. Many citizens love his peaceful and loving presence. However, he lacks the power to stand up against the Elders. All major decisions are made by them. He has no say. He is peaceful, and disapproves of bloodshed. He doesn't like the notion of invading other countries for territorial expansion, but is powerless to resist the elders. He sends a group of his most trusted military personel to the Island in search of this ring in hopes to stop the Elders greed for power and supremecy.
Name: Gillian Morgan
Age: 52
Info: Leader of the Heingarian Security Force. Participated in the war between Aldine and Solcia on the Island of No Return. He hates the elders that ignore the king, and therefore suggests to the king that the team elders is on a different pursuit than what the elders told them of.
Anyone who wants to join this thread may. Just create a character, pick what land he comes from, and which group (elders or king's). Pretty simple eh? Hopefully we'll get an equal amount of females and males, and have some sexual escapades in between the adventures.

Info: A soldier in the Heingarian Security Force directly under the king. His foster father, Gillian Morgan, is the leader of the force. He is dispatched as the leader of the King's group to the "Island of No Return" to fulfill the order by the king. He was found as a child wandering in the battlefields and was picked up by Gillian during the war between Solcia and Aldine. He has no memories of his childhood.
