I've glanced over the first page here, in the role play board, and was wondering...would any of you like a new (non tv popularized) Vampyre thread? A while back we had A Vampire's Kiss by Poohlive and A Vampyre's Lust by me. I was thinking of setting it up simiar to that one. For those of you who are not familiar with the old threads, I shall go into more details later. Right now, I am just seeing who may be interested in this. Thank you.

On second thought, maybe I'll do the hooman thang. Being a vamp was a natural first choice, but as long as I don't get sucked dry on the first encounter (so to speak) it could be an interesting role.

That's a good question! I haven't been to the RPs in a long time. hard to know who all's out there anymore, who's busy, and who's not. Ladies??? Speak up! She Vamps like me or human heroines or human sacrifices?

Rules and such.

~Vampyric rules:
Even if a Vampyre bites a human, that human does not automatically turn. The Vamp must share his blood with the human for this to happen. Humans can be nearly dead, zombie-like creatures if never fully turned. Vampyres are not afraid of crosses, and they do not kill them. It simply offends them. Garlic is another myth. Cloves of garlic do not scare them. Garlic flavor does not kill them if consumed. Sterling silver to the heart will kill them, and cuts to the flesh made by silver will wound them. Anything penetrating the heart will kill them, too. Sunlight will burn them (unless we add half-breeds to the list) and being consumed in fire will kill them.~

~General role playing rules:
Do not kill, dismember, or do anything "life changing" to another character that is not your own without talking to that role player in e-mail or IMs first. There will be no all out war, please, just a good, spirited chase and some fun.~

Wow, you certainly stuck to my rules fairly well. I remember the same book I read, you almost got the introductory paragraph down to the T. It talks of nothing but the myths and reality of a vampire.
Although it was itself merely fiction, it did sound reasonable. Thanks Tiggs for being apart of this one more time.
Such as the bargan, I will take my character up for one more run. I never was one for idleness.

I agree about the cross myth, but Im curios as to the true faith issue,is it an issue in this thread ?
If so can I have it or will I just be a tasty meat snack?
