RAVEN OF THE CITY
BACKGROUND:
They have been called by many names: demon, incubus, succubus, vampire. Yet, they are no more supernatural than those with whom they share the earth. Merely misunderstood.
They are the last of a race born, not of water, but of fire. The doppelganger of humanity. And humanity's predators. Yet, their hunger is not for meat nor blood, but rather the peculiar energies of human sexuality.
Possessed of great lifespan, they are invulnerable to disease and age. Injured, they heal quickly. Their strength, speed and agility is beyond the reach of the finest human athletes. They have senses of sight and hearing and smell and taste and touch more sensitive than any animal. They possess the ability to seduce through use of pherenomes and mild telepathic projection which they can also use to disguise themselves. When hunting, their very presence can evoke lust among the humans around them towards other humans as well.
Their appearance is human with the added benefit of being able to change between male and female genders.
Yet, they also have weaknesses. They cannot reproduce. They can be hurt. They can be killed, but only by fire such as that out of which they were born, or decapitation. Strong light is endurable, but very uncomfortable for them. Their telepathy is more of a projected empathy and image than mind reading. Though they can use it to disguise themselves somewhat and even hide (as in the old comic book character The Shadow, clouding people's minds) it is by no means perfect. In order to feed, they must change genders, e.g., if the last time they fed they were in male mode, then they can only feed again in female mode. And they must feed often. The transition between the two is not instantaneous and is painful. During this transition itself, they are at their most helpless in a coma like state.
Though they have the ability to devour human sexual energy to the point of death for their victims, this is almost never done. It does tend, however, to leave the human prey weakened or even unconscious from the sheer force of their orgasms for once the creature is engaged in sexual activity with the human, they can evoke multiple orgasms in a relatively short period of time in both men and women. The creature will have sex with a human victim over and over again, withholding its own orgasm, building up the sexual energy to a level that it finds satisfying, then will release which leaves it as helpless for a brief time as it is during transition between genders. This is a full feeding. The creatures can also "snack" without becoming satiated by engaging in sex with humans, but not having an orgasm of its own. This is less satisfying for them.
The one called Raven is of this race.
RAVEN: 5' 9", eyes are a dead giveaway, though very few humans understand. They are completely black and do not reflect light, but rather seem to only absorb it. Pale skin. No body or facial hair which means Raven must resort to wigs and false eyebrows and eyelashes. In male form, broad shoulders, narrow hips, body in very good shape. In female form the mass moves about to provide for large, firm breasts, wider hips, more rounded curves and ass. Voice also changes, from male tenor to female alto.
THE CITY:
St. Germaine, a moderately sized midwestern city (about the size of Chicago). Raven's turf is the somewhat seedy, "artsy" part of town: apartment buildings for college students and struggling artists and those who have nowhere else to go., a couple of strip joints, a few adult stores, some "specialty" clubs, several bars, bookstores, curio shops, small art galleries, restaurants, etc. Raven is the protector as well as the predator. When trouble arises, Raven uses an intimate knowledge of the area, as well as Raven's own abilities to weed it out. Be it gang warfare, pimps trying to move in on the few free lance prostitutes who have made the area their home base, criminals trying to extort protection money from the merchants, rapists, anything that might threaten Raven's "herd" will bring down Raven's wrath.
There are a few humans who actually know about Raven, but they do not completely understand what Raven is. Raven knows one or two cops whom Raven has helped in the past. Most people in the neighborhood just know Raven is someone they can turn to when in trouble.
CHARACTERS NEEDED:
Raven is going to be played by yours truly. I am looking at this as a writing challenge for a character I am developing for later novel or short story projects.
Other characters for this thread could include a male and/or female cop who work with Raven from time to time, though Raven has no sanction from the police force. Other characters could include prostitutes, store owners and clerks, homeless people, college students, bar tenders, strippers (Raven, in female form works periodically at one of the strip joints as a dancer.), or whomever you might come up with to fit.
And, of course, antagonists, those whom Raven is after for causing trouble in the neighborhood or maybe even some who have an idea of what Raven is or think they do and want to hunt Raven down.
Plenty of room for vivid characters and even outre ones.
Characters of any sexual persuasion acceptable to Literotica are welcome. Also, of the business listed above, these are just suggestions...others in keeping with the sort of seedy noir of the story ambience are welcome. Only request I make at this point is that Raven be the only one of its kind for now...maybe later can have a conflict with another of the same creature.
Anybody interested, please feel free to post character and story notes here. Once enough interest is shown, I will go ahead and set up the actual story thread.
