OOC: Pirate thread

Im not sure exactly where I want to go with it but I thought I'd see if any were interested. If so please post a character here. Within the next day or three I'll start it.


Name: Captain "Dragon Jack
Race: Caucasian
Height: 5'10"
Weight: 200 LBS
Eyes:Black
Hair: Blue
Profession: Pirate

Bit of back story: Jack got his name from his weapons of choice, the twin katanas he uses with deadly efficiency. They are rare not only in the style of blade but the design the hilt to pommels are in, dragons. And the fact his reputation has been pumped up almost to mythical proportion with tales of his feats. On the side he is a mercenary at the high sea, taking commisions to sink ones enemies. For a price of course. As he roams he seeks a woman who can best him in combat, determined that he shall be with her ever after that if he finds her.


This leaves tons and tons of leeway to play as a character of your choosing. Whether it be some nnavy, a comrade, enemy, employer or whatever else you might want to be. Jack travels many circles.

yeah - the trusty first mate that keeps the dogs in line. he feels the sea, and how the weather will change 'in his bones' can out drink any man aboard, and still hoist the sails.

I'll work on description and such (like a name) later - i gotta get to bed LOL. but remember "Old" is like 30's ish at sea. So he can still enjoy some more ....delicate..c.ompany from time ot time.

In the meantime...

Blessing is a spoiled rich woman, that has managed to get all she has ever wanted. Her father has been wrapped around her finger until recently when the newest woman in his life, has managed to marry him, and is now insisting that Blessing marry. She of course has refused all offers of marriage and now finds herself butting heads with the new wife.

Though 26, she is considered "on the shelf" her father doesn't know of the one time and one time only she did enjoy a tumble with one of the upper class men who escorted her to a play. She had decided that she would never marry, but would at least have had sex once before she died.

It was fine, but she doesn't feel like she's missing much. She snubs her nose at just about everything and everyone that doesn't have the manners she has, nor the wealth...

depending on the type of pirate you are.. you could have the new wife pay to have this chick kidnapped, or you could just grab her for sport if she is in one of the ports you dock in.. or you could just have her all ready on board as a paid passenger that her new evil step mother has hired you to take her to some oriental betrothed she has no clue about... don't care... just let me know..

Description: brown eyes, black hair, light brown skin (real life too )
Back story: The result of a mixed marriage between her pirate father and her African mother. Her father, Captain Willem "Scurvy" Higgins, trained her up as a pirate and took pride in the fact that his only child behaved more like a boy than a girl. Alexa's not dumb, she knows the temptations of the flesh, but she'd much rather stick a knife in a man's back, than fuck him. Ah, the pirate's life.


Looking back, I really don't have any imagination when it comes to characters. *sigh*
