Greetings, fellow role players! Here's the scoop: I want to get a new RP started but wanted to make sure to have enough players before I actually got the thread going. So if you're interested, please join us.
The details are simple. There's no specific "plot" I've devised--the players are the heart of this story. In other words, the plot is at the mercy of our 60-words-per-minute-plus fingers. As mentioned earlier, the setting is actually underwater. All magic/other such things will function as if on land (i.e. you can still walk if you choose not to swim [though it may be a little strange, but whatever floats your boat] and you will still be able to use heat spells, cold spells, psychokinesis, et al.) I'm sure there's bound to be something that wouldn't function underwater, but it's slipping my mind--we'll just have to see, I guess. But anyhow, there will most likely be an empire/kingdom of sorts that everything will revolve around. And of course, it will be...magical! Haha, I'm not entirely sure yet...just playing by ear, really.
You are not bound to any rules for the origins or types of characters you play. You may choose to be good/evil/neutral, a mermaid, a triton, a sea-serpent/creature, a talking fish, a sea-dwelling angel/demon, a human, wild poulty, cheese, et al. You may choose (perhaps, if you were to be a human or an angel or some other non-sea-like character) to include an explanation/reasoning for your ability to survive underwater and for your presence there in your character profile or your main introduction to the IC thread. It's really all up to you.
Name of the RPG will be announced at a later date and time. For now, I just want to see how many potential players are interested. If nobody wants in, then I'll just scrap my idea...but I don't want to. Really, I don't. Please join. I know you will! 
<---that is the coolest thing I've seen in a long time! But yes, if you are interested, you may post character profiles/outlines/bios/questions/what-have-you here. This will be our official OOC thread.

P.S. Yes, this is my first account at the literotica forums. Be not afraid! I've done plenty of role playing at other forums (yahoo groups mainly.) So join, let us have fun. Let us write. And don't worry, even if you don't type 60-plus words per minute, you may still join. Mwaha.
