OOC: Murder and Mayhem

If enough people are interested….. I want to try a murder mystery.

The story:

The town of Laurelville had always been a quiet and uneventful place to live. Neighbors gladly visited and often had barbeques…. Children played together on the streets. Crime was unheard of…Until the day that 18 year old Angela Wilcox was brutally murdered and her body found in Blackwater Lake. Everyone who knew her came under suspicion... but for lack of evidence no one was ever caught. After the murder, most of her friends scattered… a few keeping in touch with the others… the rest practically vanishing without a trace. Maybe guilt drove them away… or maybe fear. Angela’s parents and her brother and sister remain…both siblings still trying to find Angela’s killer…

Now it is 10 years later…. And the Laurelville High School reunion is but a few weeks away….

And a killer lies in wait…..

ummm, he's ten years older than 18... that would make him 28.
Hair is dark brown, with highlights of a lighter brown, but their natural.
Weight, yeah, like he'd tell you.
Height, almost 6 feet.
Eyes, piercing and judgemental.
Skin, tangerine.

Short Bio: Frank and Angela were together for about a year. One week before her murder she dumped him, and went out with some other guy.
Most people susptected Frank from the start. What's even stranger, less than a month after her death his family moved to New York.
He's back for the reunion.

I apologize for my previous post...that was supposed to be a pm, so I erased it...and you get dots..hehe


Cat is a 5'11 Latino/Asian/Caucasian, 27 years old (that is what she would be if she was about 18 at the time)

With Raven black hair, that reaches mid-back

Her skin is dark from the Latino in her blood

Her namesake is due to her long muscled (but sinowy) form, her cat like tendencies, as well as her almond cat-like green eyes

Her form was too tall and too skinny in high school, she has blossomed to fit her frame.

She was never accepted at the high school...she wasn't raised the same, nor did she look like them.

Patrick despised Angela during the last semester in school, after 6 years of rejection from her. He had a crush on her since the day he first saw her in Jr. High. He was so shy he finally asked her out when they were in 10th grade. She turned him down, and continued to every couple of months when he would finally get the courage to ask again.

He was on the football team, a starter, and also a starter on the Baseball team every year. After graduation, he turned down scholarships to first rate universities and profesional teams wanting to draft him, so he could get into Law inforcement. (Naturally he moved out of town, let's say Los Angeles for the hell of it.)

Pooh and I have decided to collaborate on something......maybe collaborate wasn't the right word...but newho...

Angela and Frank (Poohlive) had been dating....however, Cat (my char) had been sleeping with Frank while he was dating angela....angela found out and broke up with frank a week before her murder. She threatened to kill cat's reputation and even have her family (who was not accepted in the community) have them ruined...forever. It was not acceptable in Cat's family to have relations outside of marriage...thus a tangled web..

Basically my char was cheating with her b/f and well...she found out...dun dun dun!
Did I mention that Cat was the skinny ugly girl in high school? Well it is revenge of the nerds baby....only revenge of the girl who turned a 360 on ugly...

and I have no prob playing a part with a diff char that will die.....no prob at all.....

He kinda knew Angela, not much, but she did talk to him, every now and then. His only real friend came towards the end of his sophmore year, Ravenlofts character, (which should be posted after me). More of a mutual friendship if anything. After graduation, Joe pretty much drifted away from everyone, until the reunion, which is coming soon.......

Bio: Robert transfered to Laurelville high from out of state just in time for freshmen year. He was deeply into martial arts, having earned several ranks in more than one style. He was always calm, and laid back, even when the jocks would get in his face. He was into paganistic history as well, having a poster of Death in his locker. Most people shied away from him seeing as he was so new to the town and that he had such odd interests. Robert and Joe became friends through their love for metal music. Robert met Angela through Joe not long after she had broken up with Frank, they got to talking and ended up going out... The day before she was murdered he found out she was just using him to make Frank jealous. After senior year ended, Robert went off to make a couble low budget martial arts flicks, working in a bar between them... He's come back for the reunion... Albeit, a little bit hesitantly.

Expanding on my character's bio

April is Angela's younger sister. Until Angela's murder, April was quite resentful of Angela. She struggled with always being compared to Angela and trying to follow in her older sister's footsteps. One might say that her relationship with Angela was characterized by conflicts surrounding sibling rivalry. However, there was no rivalry between the two as April could never compete with Angela. April has always been quite ordinary in appearance and achievements.

In High School, April had a secret "crush" on Frank, Angela's boyfriend. After the murder, April was and still is convinced that Frank was involved in the murder.

April has waited for ten years for this reunion as she knows in her heart of hearts that the killer will be there. She and her brother have searched relentlessly for ten long years for information which may lead them to the murderer. At Angela's funeral, they made a silent pact never to let the investigation rest until justice had been satisfactorily delivered.

Grace was a nobody in school as well, and the only true friend she had was Angela. Angela was a nice girl who spoke to everyone regardless of their social background and Grace looked up to her because of that. Always the silent timid one, who mostly tried to stay out of everyone else's way, not too out spoken and seemed to keep to herself alot.
She had a reason for that.........

Angus hated Angela with a passion. According to him, she was a brainless cunt with a killer body.
Angus did try to boink her once though.......right after kicking her bf Frank in the balls.
As he said...no brain but a killer body...only good for breeding and fucking anyway.....

Angus just shrugged his shoulders when he heard that she had been murdered.
According to him...no great loss.

Angus left HS a couple of months early....becasue he was send to prison for beating a man half to death.

More: Kara thought being one of Angela's closest friends was quite shy in school. During highschool she wasn't the most pretty girl and felt quite plain standing next to Angela. Nevertheless the two were nearly inseperable. Angela gava Kara a confidence she didn't have. Now things are completely different Kara is a successful owner of a firm in Floridia. She is a prominant Lawyer who rarely loses a case and has lost her plainess and bloomed into quite a beauty. She looks forward to the reunion with a secret plan to catch the murderer whom she is sure will be there.
