OOC: Megaman

This is an thread based on the time line between the orginal Megaman series, and Megaman X. Except this is based on what if Megaman and his allys were able to stop the threat that eliminated them all. This happens after Megaman and Bass

Two years after Willy's 9'th (Or is it tenth? Aw whos counting!?) defeat, Willy had snapped. Not only Megaman had thwart his plans AGAIN, but Bass, his ultimate creation, had turned on him!

While Willy stayed at Light's base, he stolen plans for Light's next creation, an Robot type that would be made purposely for war time use, he also stolen some parts that were made pacificly for this type of bot.

Two years had pass, and nobody has heard from the crazy old nutcase since King, Willy's last creation, was destroyed. Also, nobody has heard from Bass or Treble either. And all of a sudden, all hell broke loose once again, Willy was at it again, sending out four robots to once again defeet the Blue Bomber, but something isn't right, why only four? And why had Dr. Light locked himself up in his laboratory, and refused to come out?

Well, thats basicly the story line. People can chose characters from the original Megaman series, or could make up one if they wanted to.

Name: Bass
Age: 10 in human years, 18 in robotic years
Weapon: Rapid fire cannon, adaption censors, T. Boost
Allys:Treble, Roll (he doesn't really consider Megaman or Blues aka: Proto Man as allys)
Hair color: Purple

Description: After King's destruction, Bass decided to leave Megaman be and travel along with probaly the only companion he fully trust, Treble, so he could find himself and figure out a few things. Getting an call from urgent call from Roll Bass rushed back to Light's Base to see whats wrong.

Huh. I dunno if I could turn up the chance to play Megaman. Again.

Name: Megaman aka Rock
Weapon: M. Buster, Charged Shot, Weapon Copy
Hair: Brown
Personality: Cheerful and optimistic, but still battle-hardened. Has a good heart, but a naive mind.
Allys: Roll, Dr. Light, Protoman, Rush, Bass, Fliptop, basically anyone who isn't against him

Description: In the two years that passed since King's destruction, Megaman has struggled with inner turmoil, wondering after all the fighting he has done, if he was just like Wily's creations. Taking pity on him, and believeing Wily was through, Dr. Light erased Megaman's memories of the fighting he had done. When the new robot masters were deployed, Megaman was called back into action. But now, he remembers nothing of his previous battles, and must relearn his abilities.

I'm familiar with the Megaman games, but I only have passing familiarity with the Megaman X series.

I'm willing to play Blues/Protoman, but I doubt I'd be able to pull it off, as I know almost nothing about him (I know he's older than Megaman, and that he has his own agenda, which is pretty much a total mystery to everyone else, but that's about it). If anyone knows of a webpage that details the history of the characters, I'd be happy to join. Otherwise, I'll probably have to sit this one out.

Not much is given about Protoman, we do know that he is the proto type to the A.I. Series, but other than that, all we know is Protoman is an loner. After Willy lost control of Protoman, he decided to travle alone, but jumps in to save Megaman here and there. Either than that, Protoman's motives are uknown.

We really don't need to worry about anybodie from the spin off of the Rock/Megaman series, the X series. Except for one or two, who they are I refuse to tell.

Well right now, I only have one of the robot masters. So yes, I would be happy if you would help me Tantrik.

Well I had a couple interesting ideas.


Pyroman (the prerequisite fire boss)
Crushman (Big-ass bot with oversized fists and incredable strength)
Feralman (A beast-like guy who runs on all fours and has metal claws)
Pulseman (A tall robot who can send out electromagnetic pulses)
Zephyrman (Power to control string winds)

Hmm, pretty good. Well, here are my ideas so far

Pegasus man (A.I. ultra modifide, and fused version of CentureMan and TenguMan)

Frost Byte Man (Ninja type snow wolf bot created for the soul purpose of defeeting Treble. Power was incresed with the A.I. War mod chip.)

Tao (Not much is known about Tao, but rumor has it YTao is the sister bot to Bass.)

Hmmm.... Maybe we could combine the charas some how?

Tao and Zephyrman could be one in the same; they seem to fit well together for some reason.

Feralman and FrostByteman also seem similar. They could probably be one character.

Tao/Zephyrman should be the leader don't you think?

Yeah, Zephyrman/Tao does seem to fit the leader role. I think we should include Crushman or at least some really big guy who can chuck large chunks of earth or throw buses. And that would give us Wind, Ice, and Earth. I think a fire character would even out the four robot masters.

Fire against Ice, Ice against Earth, and Earth against Wind which would leave Tao as the last master.

Armon (An mix between an spiked armadillo, and mole type bot. It was originaly made for escavations when they were searching for dinosaurs and acient humanoid bots from an disaster years ago. One of Armon's speacials is being capable of resizing itself for battle purposes.)

Despite the lack of other people, I think I'll sign up. I got two characters

Acidman:
Green hair and eyes
Forest Green armor and a see through tank on his back, two hoses running down his left arm to his wrist.

One of Wily's ealier bots, with a very independant mind, Wily had him sealed away, knowing that his abilities were powerful, but feared that with his erractic nature, he'd be even more dangerous to Wily then to Megaman if he went haywire. Despite the fact that Wily planned to repair him, he forgot about the robot, and left him sealed away.

His powers are, obviously, to fire acid from the tanks connected to his back through tubes on his left wrist, as well as use a blaster on his right.

Geo:
Black armor, and a crest on his chest in the shape of a dragon and a tiger in a 69 position, his helmet covers his eyes with a black blast sheild and there is a black mouth cover over his lower face (Think sub-zero from mortal combat)

The creation of another scientist, neither Dr. Light, nor Dr. Wily, he uses more hardware then software, having an instant transmission device that can replace his right arm with numerous other sorts of weapons. For example, his hand can be replaced with a diamond tipped drill when he calls base to transport it.

Created to stop any and all robotic threats, he would fight both Megaman and the robot masters if he thought they were a threat, and with the destruction caused by the battles between both sides, he sometimes thinks Megaman does more damage then good.

Well.... I've decided I wanted to try something a bit different this time around. I'm always playing the good guy.... so..... I would like to be the evil ones this time around.

And who could be more evil than Dr. Wily and Zero.

I don't know if you'll allow me to play as Zero (the one during the old Megaman series where he is infected with the Virus and destroys Megaman, Bass, and Proto-Man... altough I won't kill anyone here.... that'll be rude lol). But if you do, I promise to bring some serious writing.

And Wily??? Well... I pretty sure you'll let me play him. I know how to be super insane (been reading your story thus far). I'll have him mumbling incoherant things and talking just play craziness too. Well.... hope to get a reply back soon... peace folks!

Sadly for the time being Zero is out, Willy shouldn't let him go until he is extreamly desperate. But when I let him in, I'll let you use him.

Cool.... ok... here is my Dr. Wily profile:

Name: Dr. Wily
Age: 60s or 70s? Does anyone know?
Mental status: Crazy, insane, nuts.... you get the idea
Ally: Whatever robots he makes, secret project of his codenamed: Zero
Enemies: The World's population, Dr. Light, Dr. Light's creations (especially Megaman and Proto-Man), and all his robots that Megaman defeated and Dr. Light reprogrammed.

After many years of failures and constant defeat at the hands of Megaman and friends.... the "not-so-good" doctor has finally lost it (well... lost what was left... which to say, wasn't very much). He constantly talks to himself, sputters out pure nonsense, and just plain acts like one of the folks who should belong in the looney bin. Is dying of old age.... but will not let himself pass on till he is sure or Megaman and his creators demise. Is in the middle of two projects which will insure his victory over megaman.... war machine secret project Zero (the design specs and software he stole off of Dr. Light in his last battle with Megaman).... and a new computer virus of his own making... one which the world has never seen before... or ever again.
