Jungle Adventures (Open)
I checked my pack was high and tight and gave my flat a final once over before leaving. I was off to Madagascar for a funded research project that would while away a month or so and wouldn’t do my reputation in the field any harm either. Sadly my partner on this trip had backed out at the last minute but I had no concerns about going it alone.
The trip was an adventure on it’s own but as I settled in at the airport I reread a letter that had turned up two days earlier. It asked if I would be interested in locating one of their associates who had been missing for some time, he had important information and they would be grateful if I could find him and bring him home. I was curious about the letter and the people who’d sent it so I had agreed to a meeting in Jo’burg during a brief stop before my final leg to Madagascar where I would officially start my research.
