OOC: I'll Be Seeing You....

In all the old familiar places....

OOC: this is a thread that I would like to start for 2-4 players...don't really want to go over 4!! (and balanced guys and gals). The concept is that these 2-4 characters will encounter each other over the years (in other words they will be reincarnated). We can use this thread to decide which eras of history we would like to be in at any given time in the thread!! For example we may start in ancient Egypt, then go to ancient Rome and so on...maybe at the end even the future!!

I ask for dedicated writers (not meaning you have to post 5 times a day or even every single day but people who are willing to sticj it out!!)

Now we also will not have the same names for any given period of time nor the same descriptions. And we can changes sexes if you like!! I ask that we use this thread though to give it cohesion.

Let me know if you are interested and any ideas of where to begin in time. We can develop our characters from that point. (once we decide on the starting pt.) I also ask for writers who are willing to do some serious cooperative writing!! (cooperation being the key) Other han that, and above all, those willing to have some fun!!

Glad to have you aboard Thor and mf!! I assume you both desire to join!! We need one more and we can start!! I think we need one more male!! (I assme you are female mf--since I have seen you play a female in other threads!!) After we get one more we can all decide the first era and location!!

Thor--since you are the history buff I may want to defer to you. I am not too much of a buff but I liked the idea!!! You may have to be our fearless OOC thread leader as far as the era and location are concerned!!

IC: Rome during the reign of Caligula. "Little boots" was mad - and a true Libertine. As his bio says, he even committed incest with his three sisters.....to give you the flavor.....

Caligula was irresistibly attracted by every pretty young woman whom he did not possess. He even committed incest with his own three sisters. He would carefully examine women of rank in Rome and whenever he felt so inclined, he would send for whoever pleased him best. He debauched them and left them like fruit he had tasted and thrown away. Afterwards, he would openly discuss his bedfellow in detail. His first wife, Julia Claudilla, died young. In the first year of his reign Caligula attended a wedding and ran off with the bride, Livia Orestilla, whom he divorced after a few days. He soon tired of his rich third wife, Lollia Paulina, too. He made the older Milonia Caesonia (±5-41) his fourth wife in 38, when she was already pregnant. The sensual and immoral Caesonia was an excellent match for him. Caesonia gave birth to a daughter, Julia Drusilla, whom Caligula considered his own child, because "she was so savage even in childhood that she used to attack with her nails the faces and eyes of the children who played with her". Whenever Caligula kissed the neck of his wife or mistress, he used to say: "This lovely neck will be chopped as soon as I say so"

It is evening....and Caligula (moi) is reclining on pillows in one of the palaces. He is half-drunk and, as usual, sexually aroused. Caligula's toga is stained with wine...the crimson color matching the ermine trimming....

I took Thor's entry and pasted it to the thread. I apologize for I have no idea how it is done to give proper credit to Thor. But I did preface it by saying that it is his.

Character: Julliana, a servant to Caligula, she is fiesty and feels as though she is destined for greatness. She wants deperately to be chosen by him but her heart truly belongs to someone else (perhaps BlackBart's character -- whomever that may be! And if that is ok with BB)

Delivar, a free man, who is a minor Captain in the Emperor's personal royal guard.

Black hair, and eyes that can be mistaken for grey, but in reality a pale blue... A large man, but his bulk is deceiving, as many an opponent has found out.

Torn between duty to the statem and his love for Julliana, he quickly finds out the Royal Guard is a pompous group of prancing clothes horses, as he is definately not. Still he is wise enough to mind his tongue, if not for his own hopes of rising in rank, then for his dreams of being able to give his love all that she wishes in life...
