Okay, let's see if I can explain this idea the right way...
The basic idea for this thread is a series of vignette-type stories. It would start off as a couple of writers begin a story that lasts a few posts (let's just say a dozen or so), then the thread would change hands. New writers would start off on a new storyline, with only the faintest of tie-in to the old story. The old characters and the new characters might brush the same time and space, but wouldn't have really any contact with each other. The thread would then pick up on the new storyline for a dozen posts or so before another set of writers took over. And so on, and so on...
The idea is really just to give kind of a flowing tapestry of stories, and see where things lead. I'm interested in seeing the difference between the first and last thread myself. So, I'm looking for a cadre of writers who would like to join up. I'll start things off (assuming there's interest and I can find a partner or two). Stories are pretty much open to however the writers of each vignette choose to explore it. The next vignette isn't expected to follow the plotlines of the one preceding it. The only rule is to have fun and pass the reins on once your tale is done. Stories should be short, but not too short, enough to tale the tale and move on.
If you're interested reply here and drop a few ideas as to what kind of story you'd like to write and any other writer you'd like to pair up with.
