Pretty sure ten male and ten female 'counters' should cover any who would like to join in.

Phoenixprime01 has expressed interest in the father of the household role, and Stagedfright in the older sister/Kelly's role. A next door neighbour, friend of the family, etc. would be fine msboy8, put your preference here and an Event Card can be played to introduce you.

The main thread will probably contain both voyeurism and incest, but that depends a lot on how people play their cards

Anyone out there who would like to take on the role of the mother, and the role of Kelly's friend who is on the front doorstep (name free to choose)?

The Cards
The main few ideas I have for the cards are...
Event Cards : For introducing new characters. Allow the player who draws to draw another card.
Boost Cards : Give the player a boost in, um, any particular attribute.
Power Cards : Give the player a special power until their next turn - invisibility, see through clothing, ability to read other players thoughts, etc.
Change Cards : Effects the player somehow, maybe 'detrimental' in their viewpoint but the player will have to go along with what the card says. (Maybe Jake will feel it necessary to follow any non-harmful instruction given to him from a particular player / the current turns player until his next turn comes around, for example.)
If you have other ideas for cards, please post 'em here.

The pieces on the gameboard will appear labelled suitably to the person looking at them - Dad will not see Dad on his counter, but You, and likewise would see Your Wife on the counter that Jake (and Kelly) see Mom. Discard cards read the same for all. The pieces, once placed, will move by themselves about the board...

I hope this will work out, thought the idea was quite neat

Oh, one question just occured to me, how do we get turns at the game board in the house?

Just wander by and move 'roll the dice' then move our pieces to a square? If so I think Vibro or another player should determine what's on the square and the player moving decides what's on the card, if one's drawn.

How does that sound to all?

If this thread is still going on, I'm still interested in the role of Kelly. I think Kelly will be a pretty young cheerleader who has always been saving herself for marriage.

Hi all. A busy easter, but quite a few chocolate eggs to eat

We'll establish a 'turn order' for players as we go on. You don't have to take your post as part of your own turn of course, you can play to the events happening around you.

Players pretty much move about the house enviroment as they wish, their pieces on the board simply move to match. They might get mysteriously 'teleported' from one point to another though by a played card.

Drawing cards - this is a bit tricky. Until everyone is 'aware' of the boardgame, the cards will more or less play themselves for that player. I think the best solution is you happen to read or hear the results of the drawn card(s) on something else - on a newspaper, seed packet, recipe, magazine, being announced on the radio, on TV, another player tells you in monotone unaware of what they are saying, etc.

Great ideas Vibro and if you have any a dice could be rolled for a random factor if you wished then the results posted as what's happened/happening. *S

May I suggest that we keep this as our OOC for chat, talking about the story and you begin the story in another thread.

The doorbell has been rung, Samantha is waiting upon the front door step. The person who opens the door seems the best choice for the next player to take a 'turn' in the game.

Vibro, why not keep this OOC for discussion and begin the story anew and formally by starting a new thread for the story with just "Household Hi-Jinx" as the title and making a formal first post putting everyone where they should be in the story and telling us all what's occured so far.
