Is anyone interested in doing a science fiction of fantasy RP involving a race of hermaphrodites? We could also have some regular male and female races, anthro races like cat people, wolf people, dragon people, could have slavery, whores, nobility, magic... what would you all be interested in playing?

I would like to have people paired off in a sexually compatible way before the roleplay starts. So if you would like to play, please fill out this form (I filled it out for myself as an example).

Gender I want to play: masculine-looking herm or male

Gender I want as a partner: feminine male or androgynous-looking herm

Type of sex/kinks I like: I like being a pet, I will be a slave or whore only if my partner is a loving pampering owner. I would like to RP a romance with me comforting a lonely outcast and me getting pregnant. (Partner also getting pregnant is optional.) If I play a male character some magical means would cause the male pregnancy. It would be fun to play a character who went through heat cycles. NOT interested in S/M.

How often I can play: several times a day

What kind of world? I strongly prefer no war or death be allowed in the world. Either fantasy or science fiction would be fine. I particularly like courtly, school, or marooned set-ups.

Just to clarify - does "hermaphrodite looking female" mean a hermaphrodite who looks female (a woman with a dick) or a woman who looks like a hermaphrodite (butch androgynous woman, maybe a big clit which looks like a dick but doesn't produce sperm)?

What kind of world: I'm very flexible here. Fantasy and sci-fi are fine with me, especially fantasy. Courtly and school settings are great as well.

Hmm, we haven't mentioned races much - does anyone have a preference for playing or romancing a particular race? I was vaguely thinking it would be nice to have one race which was larger than another, and perhaps one race which can fly while most can't. I also rather like the nest building and egg laying style of reproduction mydelf, but I know many people prefer a typical mammalian style because it allows for lactation to come into the picture.

One other thought - it's kind of boring waiting for more people to sign up, perhaps if the three of us and whoever else joins soon wanted to start out in the same location we could do a little non-sexual roleplay to establish the world and set up the start of our stories?

As for race, i did have a few thoughts. I was originally planning on playing an elf prince, made a pet/slave to pay for a debt of honor or of money. However, the idea of playing a flying race is really interesting too. He could be somewhat birdlike, with wings sprouting from his back, and be short and slight of build. That could also make him smaller than the other races. The birdlike aspects could allow for nest-building, egg laying, etc. Assuming magic is used to make him get pregnant.

What do you think?

Yeah, avians or angels or whatever you want to call them could be fun.

Myself I think I'd like to be something particularly large, muscular, and animalistic (but still humanoid, I remember that Literotica has a no-bestiality rule). Something which looks scary at first sight then people are surprised to find out I'm tame, friendly, and civilized.

Another random thought I had is that we should have a big city where a few civilized races live and have a royal court and masquerade balls and an academy and a slave market, then we should have a tribal warrior race living somewhere nearby.

Avians sounds like a pretty good name for the race.

I also like the idea of the Imperial City or whatever you want to call it. The Avians could easily be the barbarian group. The ability to fly would allow them to go places other races couldn't, so they could be very elusive and hard to find.

Are the avians warlike barbarians, or a peaceful tribe of natives? I think it would be good if they lived in the mountains, that's a good defensible location for a flying race.

I saw them being a lot like the Goths (the historical Goths, mind you). Peaceful natives until they get pushed too far, at which point they snap and become a horde of warriors that could crush an empire.

The Goths were quite sedate until they were attacked by enemies and Rome offered them assistance. The Goths gave the Romans what they asked for and got put into camps and starved in return, at which point they went on a holy hell of a rampage that ended with the sacking of Rome.

Sound okay? Or is it too much? Not that I think it'll come to that in what we'll be writing.

If it's a high magic setting and the empire/whoever would persecute them had all that magic, flying might not be enough of an advantage to avoid trouble.

They also would probably not be willing to leave their lands, even if invaders come. Just because that can leave doesn't mean they will.

The persecution could also be in the past. They might have lived in soft, fertile lands and been forced out, which is why they now live in the heights of mountains.

Yeah, I think persecution in the past would be good - perhaps there used to be one race/empire whatever that would clip their wings and enslave them as sex slaves, dancers, and the ones which could still fly were horrified by the wing-clipping, built a stronghold in the mountains, and made sneaky fast attacks to steal the enslaved ones into freedom. And it's a matter of racial pride that they will not permit any of their race to be enslaved so they still have a troop of fighters who make slave freeing attacks. They have a cultural horror of slavery since all the little ones grew up being told by their parents and grandparents how horrible it was. Will that work with what you want to do?

Although, it'll mean trouble for whoever comes to own my character at first. He's not going to react too well, especially if they clip his wings. This could be a lot of fun.

cool Well to start I just gotta figure out what I look like and we need a starting location/situation.

I guess since we're both rare animals we might be put in a fancy pet/slave shop for the nobility instead of auctioned on a block. Unless you'd rather be auctioned. But I figure we could amuse ourselves with different people coming by to gawk at us and how we choose to react to them for a while. Your cage could be near mine so we could talk, or we could make some NPCs to be fellow captives. I imagine your character's wings wouldn't be clipped at first because the pet shop would want their 'products' to be in the best possible condition, and it wouldn't matter if you could fly since you're in a cage. Anyway that's just an idea for the initial setting, feel free to make a countersuggestion if that doesn't catch your enthusiasm.

As for my appearance... I'm thinking about 6'6", a muscular 250lbs, walks on two legs but has claws and animal ears and a tail. I just don't know whether I should be more wolf-like or panther-like or what. Something a bit scary-looking but in a sexy way. Preferably a furry mammal, because I'm rping a dragon in a different thread and I like variety. Maybe I should make up a species which has all the traits that I want...

How about a mage-created race called Mockingwolves because they look like a humanoid version of wolves and also tend to sing, whistle, whine, and otherwise make a lot of noise, and the more intelligent ones can learn some words of human speech. They were originally created to be soldiers and make very loyal bodyguards, although feral ones are dangerous in that they will sometimes rape lone travellers of other species and are a nuisance because they steal and eat human heard animals and crops. The race is hermaphroditic. They're rare because the mage only created a few of them a few generations ago and since then they have only multiplied to a population of about 500 in the whole world. What do you think?

Putting the characters in a fancy "pet store" for nobility sounds like a great idea to me also. It would let us RP riff a bit before whoever buys one/both of us gets into things. Plus, it could make for some good scenes. Our cages being next to each other is fine by me too, so there can be some back and forth between us.

Wing clipping as is usually done on pet parrots is temporary, only the feathers are cut and the bird grow a new set of feathers every few months. It could be done in a permanent way though, like by cutting into the actual flesh of the wing.

Seems to me like we're ready, which is good because I'm terribly bored at the moment, starting a new roleplay thread will be just the think to fix that. I'll come back and post a link to the RP thread here after I make it.
