I was watching that movie "Helen of Troy" awhile ago today and thought that it would make a good idea for a thread. But with some altercations of course. Here is the basic story (I'm stealing it straight from legend and that movie, lol) with my little alterations for making this a sexual thread. If anyone had any idea to change it or anything, please tell me.

Helen was the daughter of Zeus and Queen Leda of Sparta. She possesed beauty beyond the ages (since she was part god). Every man who looked at her would instantly fall in love and they couldn't resist it (well...some did, lol). She was kidnapped by King Thesus of Athens as a child (if we do this and decide to start out here, then she will be 18). After being saved, both her brother and Thesus died (I don't know her brothers name). She became married to King Menelaus (of Sparta after King Tyndareus dies). Fell in love with Prince Paris of Troy. They went to Troy and Sparta launched a war against Troy. Sparta ended up winning after a 10 year war and after that, Helen was reunited with Menelaus.

Mainly, I want it where Helen was not only beautiful, but also the biggest slut in all of Greece. Now, how exactly to do this is kinda a coin flip, and if we can figure out exactly how it will work, then this maybe good. First off, it can be more of an open thread where anybody can take any role (or maybe even add their own characters) and just mainly do whatever they want. Like the setting could be during the Trojan War (since everyone was around at the same time in the same place almost). The reason I like that idea is because that means that more then one woman can be played by people (which puts stress off me, lol). Second, we can do a story/open thread. Mainly, we follow the story of Helen of Troy from beginning to end with lots of sex. But, the downside is that there is little room for created characters and once someone dies or isn't around in the story, then they can't rp (but that doesn't mean each person can't have multiple parts). This is my first attempt at a real open thread, so please give me some feedback, positive or negative.

Here are the roles and what their descriptions are (plus who is playing who if anyone joins this, lol):

MAIN CHARACTERS
Helen (played by CheerWarren if we do this): Main Character. Result of when Zeus rapped the Queen or Sparta, Leda. Most beautiful woman in the world. Married to King Menelaus of Sparta, but loves Paris of Troy. Mainly, she is just in love in the story, but here she is really slutty, lol.

Paris (played by ariosto): Prince of Troy. Is in love with Helen and kidnapped her, bringing her to Troy and launching the Trojan War. Is in love with Helen.

Menelaus (played by kamalw1: King of Sparta after King Tyndareus dies (only because he was married to Tyndareus' daughter, Helen). Agamemnon's brother. Is so captivated by Helen's beauty that he think's he's in love, but isn't. Will do anything to get her back.

Agamemnon: King of Mycenae. Brother of King Menelaus. Married to Helen's sister Clytemnestra. The BAD GUY!!!!! Wants to rule the world really and will do anything to do so.

MINOR CHARACTERS
Clytemnestra: Sister of Helen and wife to King Agamemnon. Not really much to her (until the end).

Cassandra (played by Azalea): Princess of Troy. Has the ability to see into the future (just visions). Saw that Paris and Helen would cause the Trojan War, but was ignored. Just wants to save her family and kingdom from doom.

Priam: King of Troy. Father to Paris, Hector, and Cassandra. Allowed Helen to stay and ignored Cassandra, causing the Trojan War also. Kinda just wants people to do what they feel is right, not their duties.

Hecuba: Queen of Troy. Wife of Priam and mother to their kids. Just wanted to keep the war from happening, but that didn't work.

Hector (played by Rincewind53): Prince of Troy. Leader of the Trojan Army.

Thesus: King of Athens. He dies really quick in the story. Mostly kidnaps Helen, befriends her, and tells her the truth about her connection to Zeus. Dies when Sparta comes to save Helen.

Achilles: Greatest warrior in the world. Fights for Sparta. Just cares about fighting really. Only weakness is his heel (he's the greatest fighter because he was dipped into the River Styx and the only part that didn't go into the water was his heel, because that was where he was being held).

Odysseus: Other great warrior. Fights for Sparta. He mainly is the wisest man that is involved.

Aphrodite (played by Snork Maiden): Goddess of Love. Asks Paris (w/Hera and Athena) who is more beautiful. Offered the most beautiful mortal (Helen) is he picks her, which she does.

Hera: Goddess of marrige. Asks Paris (w/Athena and Aphrodite) who is more beautiful. Offered to make him rich beyond belief. Lost to Aphrodite.

Athena: Goddess of Crafts and the Domestic Arts (also war). Asks Paris (w/Hera and Aphrodite) who is more beautiful. Offered to make him bravest of all mortals and skilled in every craft. Lost to Aphrodite.

As I said, I'm open to any suggestions or anything that people wish to say. I really like an idea of a Helen of Troy related thread and want to be apart of it, so this is my attempt.

This is a very "classy" idea for a thread...will take a little homework! I am intrested in the role of the prophetess Cassandra, whom, if I recall correctly, no one ever really believes.

Love Greek tragedy...actually find it far superior in good translation to Shakespear.

Torn between Paris and Agammemnon, though you'll need a Paris before the King of Mycenae...so chalk me down for Priam's boy.

Hi, I'm kind of new to this, but I share your love for the story of the Illiad and the Odyssey. I love your idea for a Helen of Troy as a slut story. In that case, I'd love to be the Trojan hero, Hector, who was defeated by Achilles in the Illiad.

Thanks for the compliments. I've always been captivated by Greek Mythology and thought this would be a great thread if done right. I've updated the first post for each of you.

For the thread, I'm thinking about posting pictures I find on the internet in my posts. If anybody else wants to do this, please post either the website giving credit to them OR just give a direct link to the picture instead of attaching it. Like I'm going to use a lot of pictures from the USA Network movie that I get from their website.

Now, since we got people joining, which way do you all think it should be? Either: A) Start from the beginning of the story and work our way through it or B) Just pick a time and place in the story and say what if. If nobody else joined, I would say do B (even though I personally want to do A) only because it just so happens that everyone joined so far was on the Trojan side of things. But, if more people join AND/OR people take multiple parts, then we can do A.

Yes, nobody really liked Cassandra. Her dad believed her and sought guidence from her, but he kinda just feel on deaf ears when it started to come to Paris and Helen during the start and during the Trojan War.

Hi CheerWarren,

If you are still casting roles, I'd like to play Aphrodite :) complete with Golden Apples and one or two other mischievious pranks to play on starstruck lovers - Oooo is that a basket of Golden Apples I see ;) My appologies Hera and Athena, I just couldn't resist a little game with these mortals LOL, poor Zeus he is so dull at times. hmmmm you know I have changed my mind, sorry Paris me ol' chine but perhaps we'll let your Helen play around with the boys of pheonician fleet whilst they are at dock, a while what you say, we godesses are so fickle.

That would be fine Snork Maiden. Might add to some of the "less" known events of the myth, lol.

WOW!!! I thought I was the only person that enjoyed Greek mythology this much. If you don't mind, I would like to play the role of Menelaus, King of Sparta.

Great, now we have the whole love triangle group, lol. Anyone else wanna join...and if you have already joined, please try to get anyone that you can. I'm going to probably set the deadline by the end of this week to join (unless anyone thinks it should be later). Then, I'll start a new thread and post the link up here.
