OOC: Harry Potter Prequel

I don't even know if there would be an interest for a thread like this, but here goes...

Tentatively titled Voldemort's Rise, this thread would deal with the time period preceeding the death of the Potter's.

Some of the possible characters include:

James Potter
Lily Potter (I'd play her)
Lord Voldemort
Sirius Black
Albus Dumbledore
Minerva McGonagall
Severus Snape
Lucius Malfoy
Rubeus Hagrid

Too many to name really. Anyway this would be an adult story, based on the information alluded to in the children's books. The action would cover Voldemort's rise to power and his attempt to take over the magical world.

I'm new to RP so please be kind. Actually this is my first attempt at a thread that's not X-rated. If there is any interest at all, I'll go into more detail. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Voldemort's Rise

I know I took forever to start this so if you're not interested in playing any part, I totally understand. Just leave me a little note here.

Basically the set up is good versus bad. The Death Eaters and giants against everyone else. Dumbledore has gathered the best wizards and witches at Hogwart's to discuss the rising power of Lord Voldemort, an evil wizard trying to take over the wizarding world. The action takes place one year before Harry Potter's birth.

I'd love to have someone play my husband James. If not, I can write him as being elsewhere.

A reunion between the Lupin, Black, and James Potter would be very cool. Corruptor go right ahead and play the werewolf, Lupin.

We will definately need some Death Eaters and possible an ogre. It would be great to get someone to play the rat, Pete Pettigrew. And also someone to play the double-agent, Severus Snape.

If your not all that familiar with the series, here's a great site I use as a resource in my classroom.

James Potter, who looks oddly enough like an old Harry Potter, right down to the glasses. New husband to Lily Potter, and one of the most powerful wizards ever to graduate from Hogwart's.
Very nice personality, with a friendly yet mature tone.
At least, for now that is.

Wand... 11" Mahogony that is pliable.
(not sure on the animal that's it's heart. Give me a little bit to check on it... if I can't find it, I'll make one up)

i would like to help I've read all four books and Monster one and the Quiditch one. but there are not a lot of female charters. Is Mrs. Weasley ok?
