OOC: Gunslinger

I was a part of a thread in 2005 involving a woman gunslinger on the run. I like these kind of stories. I would like to start another but with a different twist.

Cassandra - She has been hiding in a town for a couple of weeks. She had barely survived the last scuffle but had made it to a town where they were used to not asking questions. She keeps to herself and for once, wears womens clothing. Underneath the floor boards of her small house on the outskirts of town, she keeps a bag with her guns, money, ammo, and her other clothing. No one even knew she could punch harder than some men. It always made her smile. The odd thing about her was that she could sew with the best of them and could play the piano like a goddess. Its how she became employed as part-time seamstress and piano teacher. The piano had come with the house.

Looking for the roles of the head guy chasing after her...she stole something of great importance from a really rich guy...her stepfather. It happened to be the deed to some land that was suppose to go to her on her mother's death. It was land proven to have gold. Without the deed though, they won't let him on the land.

Also, looking for the role of another gunsman who takes it into his head that he needs to protect her...until he sees her skills at the first skirmish in town. Any other ideas are welcome. Let me know if you are interested.

Hm...interesting idea. Never really seen an Western themed RP before. Got some ideas on a gunman that could make things interesting.

A sort of Dr. Jeckel-Mr. Hyde type gunman. Doesn't appear to be the type to be a gunman and tends to act the part, but put a gun in his hand and he can make swiss cheese of a man's hat without hurting a hair on the head wearing the hat. Figuratively speaking of course.

LOL I like it. My character doesn't look like a gunslinger and yours can't help looking like a typical one but they both can't see the whole picture. nice. At least that is what I am interpreting.

Well, I was thinking more like the guy looks and acts like he belongs behind a counter (in fact, he would work as the cashier at the town's bank), and thus no one would ever think of him as the type who would know how to use a gun, let alone with skill to rival some of the best in the business. But once the guy has a gun in his hands, it's like a different person: eyes either become ice cold like a professional killer or go wild like a mad man; his voice changes slightly (normally he'd have a bit of a stutter and a high pitched voice, but with a gun in hand, voice drops an octave and the stutter is gone); he stands up straighter, etc. Little changes. Take the gun away, and the cashier with a bit more courage than normal is back.

But yes, neither would really get the complete picture of the other. She might actually see him as a gunslinger after witnessing what he does with a gun, but have a hard time believing it's the same man. He wouldn't pin her for the gun-toting type either, until he sees her with one.

Yes that would be the last one...at some point the other two weren't really getting where I wanted it to go. Which stunk but new things happen. Thanks for the clarification. I'm usually not this dense.

So, how do you want to do this? Post bios like in other threads around here or just jump right in and let the story reveal the characters?

Since it won't automatically start with my character being chased you and I can start it. I will put in descriptive items of my character and just get into it.

Long is good. Long means lots of nice details and some good thought put into the work.

Yeah seems weird that I love to write but yet I am an Accounting Major in college. LOL! Numbers are wonderful.

Accounting major. Not bad. I see a few of them around in my own college. Taken a few of the classes as well as graduation requirements.

I have one year left for my 4 year degree. Accounting runs in my family. We like numbers. My sis would a massage therapist though LOL! She keeps the desk jockies from being crippled in the back.

lol Yeah, I hear ya. I've got a year left on my *ahem* 4-year "extended" degree as well.

Yeah I flunked out of 3 colleges before giving up for a couple years then went back and am almost done.

Yeah I am 28 years old but hey...not so old LOL!

Eh Im ok. I stand at 5' 7" 220 lbs and am big boned literally. Most people tell me I can't be that heavy but it is what the scale tells me. I have glasses, brown eyes and chestnut hair...or as I like to say brown hair with blond and red highlights. That is what I look like. Yeah I can write but not so pretty.

Hm...guess I should reciprocate. 5' 11" 160lbs. Glasses, brown eyes, sandy blonde/brown hair. Bony I'm told. Not the most handsome guy around, but I make up for it with sweet talk.

Awesome. I find I like the inside stuff instead of totally looking at the outside. Makes me feel more human. Anyway, whenever you get to the IC for Gunslinger I will write up something after it. I think I am going to go to bed. Its 1:36am here.
