The main thread will be closed, only Wanderer D and I will be posting in it, in order to help him get use to posting in the ORP. Any comments/suggestions will be welcome in this thread though! We hope to collaborate it into a final Short story/novel.


Thread description:

A man takes a journey in order to repay the dying wish of an enemy warrior for saving his life. Fate intervenes as he and the young expecting widow begin a romance that could destroy their positions within their families because of the turmoil of the Clan war surrounding them.

This is the character I will be using in Gift of Fate:

Name: Cerus. Warrior, Lieutenant in the Northern Command of Clan Hectan.
Age: 26
Height: 6'2
Weight: 185 deeply tanned with the cut body of a warrior who favors speed and dexterity over brute strength.
Hair: Brownish Blonde, shoulder length. Normally keeps it straight and tied back.
Eyes: Brown
Other physical attributes: Has a sizeable scar diagonal across his left shoulder-blade, top of the scar is near his vertebrae. Right eyebrow is scarred, separating the hair slightly. Left forearm scarred from a blade that broke his shield. Three inch horizontal scar across the left of his chest. Turns pale white during any intense emotion or adrenaline rush.

Name: Flora. Wife of a warrior of the Clan Decanti.
Height: 5’4
Weight: Average, slightly thin but well figured, graceful.
Hair: Dark brown, curly and past her shoulders.
Eyes: Pale blue
Age: 19
Skin: Pale, almost creamy white.
Physical Attributes: Full pouty lips, that are almost always smiling, her eyes shine with a light of their own, and she seems to look deep into your soul with them. A clan symbol inked in indigo and blood red is tattooed from hip to hip on the small of her back showing her place in the clan as a warrior’s wife.

Personally, I think you are both great authors, and collaborate very well. There is a certain detail to quality and refinement to the scene that is sometimes lost in all of these fight scenes and sexual encounters.
My only word of advice, would be to post more than once every few months. We like to keep things up to date here. Once a day, or at least 3 times a week, something of a regular basis.
That's all I have, hope to see the story continue. It has a wonderful start.

D is in the Navy and majorly busy...so we post together when we can If you only knew how much of a writer he was you would be flabergasted. He has been working on a novel for years, I can not wait until he finishes it, it completely rocks.

He's suppose to post sometimes today or torrow that is when I remind him again
