Okay, this is a modern teenage drama rp, but with furries. It takes place in Pinellas County, Florida. The friends are seniors at Pinellas Park High School (the same school I went to myself). Below are maps of the area. On the seventh map, try and spot 99th Terrace North. That's where my dad lives and where I have lived a few times, . PP High is off 66th Street.

Roadflare will be making a character too, and I will be making a second char. Logan Greyback
Age: 18
DOB: August 22nd, 1989
POB: Pinellas Park, Florida
Species: Grey Wolf/Cat
Eye Color: Light Blue, almost Silver
Height: 5'9

Born to James Greyback (wolf) and Tabitha Shanks (cat), Logan was raised in a good home. Both his parents were in media, his mother being a top news reporter on Bay News Nine, his father being a journalist for the St. Petersburg Times. When he started school, he studied hard and always got top marks, showing a high affinity for science and computers. He also grew to adore anime and manga, and started studying Japanese, in addition to Spanish. By age thirteen, Logan had his very own site up and running, Central Geek Network, or CGN for short. There he created forums, posted art and writing, and spent many hours updating the site.

Logan didn't have a lot of friends, he was a bit of a loner. Although, he did meet a girl named Crystal in third grade who became his first female best friend. His male best friend, Draco, he had met on the first day of kindergarten.

Now, a few days after the start of his senior year, Logan has turned eighteen, and looks forward to the future. His dream is to get accepted into MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) and earn a degree in Information Systems. However, should he fall in love, he may choose to attend a local college, namely the University of South Florida, Tampa Campus. His mother has made it to Anchorwoman on Bay News Nine, and his father is now Editor-in-Chief of the St. Petersburg Times.

in that case, i'd recommend anything you can find by either Jay Naylor or Jeremy Bernal. Jodi Tong also does exceptional artwork, but she doesn't like anyone using her work outside of the commissions they purchase....the problem with using Bernal's work is it's hard to find pics of guys. it's mostly gals and hardcore scenes >>

there's another artist...Matt something or other...he's responsible for the character ZigZag, used in Eric Schwartz's Sabrena Online comic (a recurring cameo << >>)

Name: Crystal Longtail
Age: 18
DOB: May 19th, 1989
POB: Long Island, New York
Species: Cat

Appearance: Crystal has crimson hair, a base fur color of a rather dull tan mixed with orange, brown, and light gold hairs. She has light blue eyes that look like sparkling crystals, hence her name. While not particularly tall, she isn't a small-fry either, standing roughly around 5'6" from head to toes. Crystal prefers to wear loose clothing, including zip-up hoodies and comfortable pants.

Personality: For the most part Crystal is a happy person, usually wearing a smile on her face. She is, however, prone to random fits of selfishness and likes to tease people a lot, but all in good fun and never to the extent where feelings would be hurt. She has this annoying habit of being lazy and gets her work done right before it's due.

Bio: While Crystal was born in New York, her parents moved the family to Florida a little after her 5th birthday. Her grandparents had passed away and left her family with a large upscale home and a small fortune. Her mother, Kaylee, is a secretary for a local real estate agency while her father Lynx works at a prestigious law firm for most of the day. She grew up in a rather upscale home, her financial security provided for by her parents who both have sizeable incomes. Since she was still relatively young while going through the moving process, Crystal didn’t leave any long-formed friendships behind her in New York, and she made quite a few friends growing up in Florida, most notably Logan and a few of his friends.

While not the most popular girl at PP High, Crystal was always easy going and a favorite of the teachers. She found her calling when trying out for the track & field team, quickly making the squad due to her quick speed and agility. At the start of her senior year Crystal is the captain of her team and she hopes to bring them home a few medals before graduating.

Benjamin Bowen
Age: 18
DOB: May 11th, 1989
POB: Los Angeles, California
Species: Red Fox

Originally, Ben started school at age five, but due to his constant misbehaving, lack of concentration, and hard family life, he was forced to repeat first grade. When he was seven, his parents got divorced and his father (Gregory) moved to Florida, finished college, and landed a job in the Sales & Catering department of a luxury hotel, Golden Crown Inn. His mother (Julianna) worked two jobs, but could barely afford the run down apartment they rented. Ben began to hang with the wrong crowd, and by age eleven he was smoking, drinking, and running with gang members. A few months before his twelfth birthday, the LAPD busted a drug ring, of which Ben was one of the crooks apprehended. Had he cooperated, he would have gotten off with probation, but he fought back, giving an officer a black eye. For this, they threw him in a Juvenile Detention Center, where he served nearly two years. Upon his release, he was horrified to discover his mother did not want him to return home. She said she was emotionally incapable of dealing with him. So, shortly before turning fourteen, Ben was sent to live with his father in Florida, who had managed to work his way up to Assistant General Manager of Golden Crown Inn.

The following fall, he started eighth grade, and met Logan, Crystal, and Draco. Being around them inspired Ben to study harder, mostly not wanting to look like a retard in front of them. On his sixteenth birthday, as a reward for his progress, Greg bought his son a brand new Kawasaki motorcycle. An avid fan of the Jetcycle League of America, Ben turned his bike into a jetcycle, and became a master of racing. It came as a shock to everyone when he announced he was dropping out of school, and would not return for senior year with them. Then he revealed to everyone that he had been secretly meeting with Jetcycle League officials, and that he had been offered a four year contract to the League.

And so, in the months that followed, Ben Bowen became a minor celebrity, riding his new Echoing Siren into victory after victory.

Name: Jaxon Samuels
Age: 19
DOB: June 3rd, 1988
POB: Brooklyn, New York, New York
Species: Hybrid (Tiger-Black Panther)

Jaxon lived in Brooklyn till he was thirteen. He spent most of his youth getting in and out of trouble. It wasn't until he was 11 that he got into a serious fight. He got into trouble with a local gang, in a big way. He managed to beat them down, but not before acquiring a scar on his chest from a gang member who decided that machetes were legal. Only problem was, several of the gang members were beaten nearly to death before the police got in. The gang members died in the hospital from complications, and Jaxon was placed in an extreme Juvenile Detention for two years, where he refused to pay attention. After the first year, he met a Federal Agent who was visiting a family member. The man convinced him to take things seriously. When he finally got out, his mother took him to Florida. He was reenrolled in school, but he was still quite a bit behind. He was held back an extra year, and met several local influences that helped him out.

When he got into high school, he had already taken numerous martial arts classes, and become a better fighter. More importantly, he had learned the discipline martial arts required. He met several friends in high school, and with their help, learned to be more relaxed. By his senior year, he had started teaching mothers and young girls how to defend themselves at the local Y as a part time job. He proudly displays the scar that led him into martial arts, wearing only open button up shirts and jackets, when he wears anything on his torso at all.

Draco Asmodius
Age: 18
DOB: July 4th, 1989
POB: Miami, Florida

Draco, contrary to his appearance, is very bright. Though he looks intimidating, he's actually in advanced classes, and is a pacifist. He'll defend himself, but refuses to actually hurt anyone, preferring to outsmart anyone challenging him into hurting themselves. He spends his spare time reading or playing video games using a handbuilt controller, to prevent it from breaking under his touch, and sometimes tutors other students. His closest friend, Logan, can be a bit difficult at times, but the two are rarely seen alone anymore.

Name: Tyler (Ty) Carson

Personality: Ty is a radical. She's a debater, she knows that she's right and everyone that doesn't think so is entitled to their opinion even if it is wrong. For the most part she is leader, rise to the occassion, hold a sit in in the cafeteria, play her guitar in the quad, and scream for equal rights for all. She likes to think of herself as a revolutionary... she'll step on toes to get theings done... she's a go to girl.

Bio: Ty was born in Manchester, England. Her mother and her father were both into the 'scene', as they call it, that she is involved now. They met at a bar and things happened. Ty was born and both parents got married. Her mother owned her own bakery and her father had a tattoo parlor. Both were completely interesting people. Until a riot broke out when tensions were running high in a march through Manchester. The march was for better schooling programs that were affordable to all. Of course her parents were marching and Ty was not far behind.

Some idiot threw something at an officer and before long a whole riot had broken out. Both of her parents died... she didn't know how but she was only fourteen at the time. Her own family was her father's father, he was a yank afterall, who lived in Florida so she moved out there to live with him. The last four years have proved to be interesting, at first she was very anti-social but now she's pretty out there. Her grandfather let's her do as she pleases because he can't keep up with her that's for damn sure.

Forrest Grizz
Age: 18

Grizz grew up in a rather crowded home. His father had died when he was six, leaving behind his wife, Lianna, and three boys, Grizz, Todd, and Rick. By the time he was eight, his mother had remarried to Tony Tigerelli after representing him in court and winning. Tony had been charged of drug activity and had hired Lianna as his defense attorney. She believed he was good, but little did she know that behind the scenes, Tony was the son of the Godfather of the Tigerelli Family.

Tony had insisted the family take his name, and discontinue prolonged visits with Lianna’s “deranged old father”, as he put it. However, Grizz refused, and started going by his last name to reinforce his father’s honor. He also upped time with his grandfather, Jiraki Gurizoku, who had been teaching him the fundamentals of Jeet Kune Do since he was five. Jeet Kune Do (Way of the Intercepting Fist) had been the creation of dragon martial arts master Bruce Lee, who had been mentor and teacher to Jiraki in the sixties. Before that, Jiraki had been born and raised in Tokyo, Japan, and had learned Karate and Judo from his father. Then, after moving to America, getting married, and spending a few years studying under Bruce Lee, he set back out to master the martial arts of the world. However, his wife, who had just given birth to their daughter Lianna, said she was not going, and if he left, to never come back. Furious with his wife, he left anyway, moving to Hong Kong, China. His wife divorced him, but Jiraki put it from his mind, studying in more depth Kung Fu, Wing Chun, and Tai Chi. Then, hearing of Bruce Lee’s death in 1973, he returned to America to attend the funeral.

Afterwards, Jiraki was gone again, this time headed to South America, where he spent a few years learning Brazilian Juijutsu. Then, it was back to Japan, where he studied Ninjutsu. However, in 1979, Jiraki was forced to return to the States, because his ex-wife had died in a car accident, leaving his eleven year old daughter parentless. He moved into the house they had down in Florida, and Lianna was not too pleased to see the man she had never known outside of pictures. He tried to be there for her, but spent much time studying Western Boxing and Kickboxing. They eventually made it to good terms, although Jiraki was disappointed when Lianna put off finishing Law School to have a baby with her new husband. After Grizz was born, she completed school, graduating just before Todd was born.

Jiraki saw potential in these children, but Grizz was the only one to accept his grandfather’s training. He studied religiously, learning all about Jeet Kune Do, the Way of the Intercepting Fist, the Style of No Style. Although Jiraki wasn’t a certified instructor of Jeet Kune Do, he felt he should teach it to his grandson. And that he did -- he taught Grizz about all the styles he himself had learned, and although far from a master himself, Grizz was a very accomplished martial artist upon reaching his teens.

This bothered Tony, who was afraid Grizz would be a bad influence on his own son, Tommy, half-brother to Grizz. In addition to martial arts, Grizz tried to stay calm about his stepfather by focusing on creative arts. He discovered he had a knack for the guitar, but not wanting to ask Tony for money for lessons, Grizz went out and got a part time job at the local Blockbuster Video.

Shortly before starting senior year, Grizz finally had a successful band assembled, Black Scrotum. They played at a local beach party, and the result was thunderous applause. The band effectively fused rock, rap, and metal into an impressive collection of songs. The start of the school year brings with it many requests for them to play at people’s parties, only few of which they accept.

Name: Charlotte (Charlie) Mason

Species: Brown Cow

Personality: A very sweet kind thing who has a sunny disposition and tries to always find the bright side. She tends to get walked all over because she puts people before herself because she really does care. She can be competitive when playing sports and is very loyal even to people that don't treat her as well as they should.

Bio: Charlie, as she prefers to be called, was born in Billings, Montana and was raised on her father's ranch. She loved being out in the country and the great outdoors. Her mother and father got a divorce because it wasn't going to work. In an act of pure evil the woman moved out to Florida after getting custody of the twelve year old. She spends Christmas break and summer breaks with her father and any other breaks with her mother.

Charlie had always been a fairly chubby girl throughout her life but spending the summer with her father he realized what was going on with her mother pushing her to just lose the weight. Of course Richard, her father, decided that really working her and helping her make healthy choices would be far better than just dieting.

Her senior year at highschool finds the young brown cow with a newfound confidence, still a little insecure, and newfound energy. She is now hoping to make the highschool softball team.

Well, I was gonna start the rp thread tonight, but seeing as how Nerdslut needs to finish her char, TOTW needs to finish her second char, and Flare needs to produce his char and a female player, I'll hold off a bit longer.

Name: Tamara Goldtail, prefers Tammy
Age: 19
Place of Birth: Waterbury, Connecticut
Current Residence:: Florida
Species: Mouse*

Personality: Has a very energetic and engaging personality, but she’s has this knack for getting herself into trouble. This often leads her to conflict with her peers and makes her seem a bit unreliable, though she has no problems getting the job done. While she claims to have made a lot of friends, in reality she has very few. For the most part she acts on her own and she holds very few people in high regards, though she is known to stick up for those who are less able and/or fortunate, people like herself.

Bio: Tamara was born into a large family, although she grew up knowing none of them. From a very young age she grew up as an orphan, moving from shelter to shelter as she could never fit in at any once place. The fact that she was prone to getting into trouble didn’t help either… and so she found herself being left behind while families chose to adopt less-troublesome children.

When Tamara was around 14/15 she found herself in a rather tough pickle: Hanging out with what she deemed to be pretty fun guys, she was in fact associating herself with a rowdy and rather violent street gang. Once she realized that their methods of attention wasn’t what she had in mind, she desperately tried to fight her way out. Now and then she would walk to her foster home with a few bruisers and other… well less visible scars. How she got out is a mystery to some, but she refuses to speak of those days, never once wanting to remember the horrors and abuse that she had gone through.

Right before her senior year in HS, Tammy decided that she had had enough education for one lifetime, and subsequently withdrew herself from attending classes. She would show up now and then, disturbing classes and causing a ruckus for the students who still attend PPHS, though she claims it’s all in good fun. For the present moment she finds herself working at a local bar and strip club, working as both a waitress and dancer.

*Note on the species*

While the model of my character is taken from the Pokemon character Pikachu, Tamara does not possess the ability to use electrical attacks.

That having been said, Tamara is of the field mouse variety, whom are normally short and stocky with yellow fur and brown markings along their bodies, including as well a lightning shaped tail.
