ooc: here is the thread for character information for new comers, and any questions that might be asked to deal with the Original thread "The Family" Since that thread is over 2500 posts it is a little much to read. But general information will be put here for knowledge to new comers to this story.

If I can't have it all, then no one else will

Felix is slim, slight and typically dressed in a black leather jacket and black jeans. His dark, spiky hair untidily frames his pale face, while glowing green eyes glare out. To most, huddled on a street corner or sometimes sitting at a table in a cheap nightclub, he presents an image of pathos, the kid from the streets who had to grow up too fast. Kind ladies sometimes feel an urge to take him home, feed him up, see if they can make the lonely, scared alleycat purr. Sometimes they even approach him and ask him to go with them.

And then Felix will smile, and stretch and yawn like a cat, and get up from his place and pad softly after them. And Felix comes back, with a flush in his pale cheeks and a new spring in his step. Because Felix is a vampire who loves above all the taste of charity betrayed.

Felix in fact has deep religious beliefs. It's been speculated among his fellow vampires that he was brought up by monks, or a similarly religious, stratified group. Felix never discusses his past, and indeed rarely talks with other vampires, so speculation is all there is to it.

Felix believes that vampires are the souls of the damned, those who have commited sins so terrible that God has chosen to punish them with an eternity of night and sin. Believing this, he will almost joyfully commit murder by feeding, for he believes that it is all part of the divine plan, and that since he has been shut off from the light, the only way he should go is further into darkness.

He believes that evil such as himself exists to inspire courage and heroism in others, and as such it furthers righteousness without breaking the terms of Free Will.

His sire is unknown and he has not sired any other vampires. Then again, Felix's strange creed demands that vampires continue to breed, to spread the darkness that must exist for the light to be seen, so it can only be a matter of time before he locates a disciple worthy enough....

personality: shy most of the time careful about how he moves not wanting to hurt anybody or any thing. but dont push him to far.. the one time that happend no one in the vilge was left alive.
he's part of the famly but he tends to disappear for long periods of time to be alone.
He dosn't talk about it ,all the family knows is something horrible happend to his mortal family

GM's Vampire Fact's For this Story

OOC: The Facts
Okay, let's see if we can't make a list of the facts, then.

Sunlight doesn't harm vampires-they hunt at night because of easier prey and eventually the light becomes irratating to the eyes.

Vampires can heal faster than humans, but can't come back from anything 'fatal'. Such as-a vampire can heal a peirced lung while still alive, but a bullet through the brain kills instantly.

Vampires have no 'super' powers. Physicial strengths greater than humans, and an ability to learn certain 'mental' powers over many centuries.

Vampires have blood, can cry, and preform all basic human functions, including eating and drinking.

Vampires must feed to stay alive. Without feeding the 'hunger' will eventually either drive them insane, or their body will experience massive cellular deterioration-This is also true when a vampire dies.

Such myths as silver, garlic, or religious symbols hurting vampires are just that-myths.

Vampire changings are rarely survived, short, and painful. They are preform by the human drinking vampire blood, usually after being bitten themselves.

Vampire blood, on vampires, has the added effect of transfering memories for temporary amounts of time. In cases where the vampires were much alike, lasting personality changes are noticed. A vampire's blood, when used on humans, in a way other than ingested, it heals them rapidly.

Vampires usually have reflections, but there are some cases of the opposite. The same is true of vampire's shadows.

Vampires usually have good memories, with the short problem of being unable to remember the concept of 'time'.

Appearance: Tall, black-haired, piercing gray eyes, permanent scowl, too many scars to count. Not the kind of man you'd want to meet in a dark alley.

Education: None, though he posseses that certain hard intelligence you acquire by living through several centuries.

Job: Part-time stalker, full-time killer

Some facts we went by in Family:

* Mental ability to communicate between two vampires is only those two who have shared blood. And not all have it (Jopseh is one who doesnt). Memories are shared when in an embrace between vampire- Human and Vampire-vampire.

So far linked to the quest is:

Ray - Knows the location of the Alter, but has to try and remember where it is.

Aria- Just the sight gift


Joseph- To get us into the cave and back out alive, or just himself to retrieve the book.

Maggie- The puzzle lover, has to figure out how to open the book


Steele- Posses his mother's blood, one of the original 5 to put their spells into this book.


Still thinking how to link Faust (if a good guy ) and Talia. Any ideas would be great!

Appearance: Vlad dresses in suits, and is thin. His power is great, from training and killing his entire life. His back is covered in old scars, an unusual occurance given the healing powers of vampires. He's purebred, and has an army of followers.

Bio: Vlad was in the Bloodguard with Joseph, and spent his days afterwards hunting down vampires of strength and groups of hunters. Always informining them of his arrival, he finds it 'entertaining' to go straight through their strongest defenses and kill them. He had plands for ruling the world, and has the latent ability to use magic. The second oldest vampire alive, he's a cruel son-of-a-bitch that enjoys raping, killing, and plundering.
