Just so you know...in Second Life there are a few Firefly role play sims, and the group is active in many areas of the grid.

There're a few in the past. I was in one playing Kaylee. It was fun but they all eventually lost steam the way so many do here.

Yeah. There were a couple of Firefly rpgs. I think I was in one with wyldfire about ... uuuhhf 5 years ago? Playing badger. I lived in the states back then and left the board because of a move to germany. I'm back now, and always interested in a firefly rpg.
Actually give me a few weeks and MAYBE I will start one myself. The last one I played (here)only lasted about two or three weeks - as so many others do... but I thought up to that point it wasn't bad at all.

Just as a brainstormer:

how linear should a firfly rpg be?
what time period (post or pre serenity? - wash and preacher man included or not?)
how often do you wish to post ? One reason most die, I think, is that we all spend differend amounts of time in this forum, and some only wish to commit so much time a week. My (purely subjective) experience is that with a theme like firefly (few but highly devoted fans) about one to two lengthy contributes a week are a max.
sexual content or not?

In essence: heck let's go for it. ANY firefly is better than NO firefly.
