OOC fantasy RP Tunnels and Trolls

Here is a general idea I wish to develp more as people show interest but basically it is an adventure RP. The war of the gods have left the Continent in rough shape. Mountain ranges appear out of thin air and the North and South are divided. Your left in the north on tough but good farmland. The south is a complex mass of caves and mountains. Though there is the promise of great wealth in the ancient tunnels and the once great cities sunk below the earth. The only thing that stands in your way is the wild and crazy trolls who live in the tunnels and caves deep in the earth. Live as a poor farmer or find glory and wealth in the caves..........



So anyone interested?

Armed with only a pitchfork and a dagger, and a lantern, and a pack full of food, some flint and,...

What? You think a farmer's gonna wander around with only a sword and a need for treasure?

"Well, this is everything I own. Neer know, might need it. Now help me with the ladder."

As ususal sir you make every adventure an interesting one to say the least.

Peasant wish to be a hero.....or even more likely just trying to get rich? Sounds good. Youc an get some more gear though.

Race: Elven
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Silver
INFO: Aralia is one of the few remaining elves left in the enchanted woodlands that have been reduced to nothing but a small collection of trees. She travels now searching for lost family and other kin. She is quiet and withdrawn having witnessed horrors she never wants to remember during the war of the gods. Yet at heart she is kind with a cynical sense of humor. She had decided to search for treasure in the maze of caves so that she can help making the elven kingdom grand once more.

Bravo I like it......what type of character though? I like classes but that doesn't mean a warrior can't do some magic and a wizard can't swing a sword.




Basic ideas should be......theifs, warriors, priests, and wizards.

Though commoners are welcome.....to prove themselves

Race: Human

Hair: Brown

Bio: Detton is, or rather, was a serf. Poor, underfed, and overworked, Detton has escaped from a life not going anywhere but an unmarked grave. His wife was dead, and so were his sons.

With little left to hold him in place, he left and decided to make a try for the caves. If he succeeded, he'd be rich. He'd have food, good clothes, and a chance to make a difference. If he failed, well,...

He was going to die eventually, anyway. Armed with only a pitchfork, Detton has a small pack with various berries and roots dug up along the way for food. Dressed in rags, Detton is unafraid.

After all, what's there to be afraid of? How could being killed by a Troll be any worse than dying of starvation?

Interesting.........I like it. truly an adventurer. A man heading out to make his fortune.

More like a man with no hope, no dreams, and nothing better to do.

The kind of person who never bothers to try to run away, because they've got nothing to run to. The kind of person who's so used to being treated like nothing that he'd happily die fighting if only to make a stupid troll go, "Wow, he was harder to kill than most."

Aralia is a Mage who is very proficient with her daggers and decent with a sword. But she pefers her hand to hand combat which she is quite deadly with.

Name: Veter
Race: Gnome
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Black

Bio: Rogue, brigand, security expert, finder of lost things, disposer of nemises... all these things describe him. Or rather, he wishes they would. He actually has very little experience in doing any of these things, as he's only 14 years old (this part is assuming all races age at the normal human rate). He works for a thieves guild in a medium sized city, and what little experience he has is restricted to muling items from place to place without being caught by the authorities. However, he has observed and listened to the other thieves closely and has learned a good deal about traps, assassinations, extortion, stealth, and he's even picked up a few handy spells here and there (I can list these if you want). He hopes to escape, however, as his life is threatened almost daily. He would much rather prefer to journey south in the mountains. At least there, the mosnters are less likely to pretend to befreind you just so they can put a dagger in your back later.

He wears a cured leather tunic and a heavy cloak, and carries a short sword on his belt. Behind him, concealed by his cloak, he wears a sack that contains various lockpicks, a garrote or two, and a few vials containing poisons that he brewed and tested himself. On his wrists he wears a pair of bracers. Attatched to the right one is a wrist crossbow that fires tiny darts. he also carries no less that half a dozen daggers, concealed at various places on his person, including his boots, his bracers, his belt, and he even hides one under his thick, shaggy hair. Despite all that he carries, he is able to move quickly and silently.

I like what I read and it seems to fit. Pretty much no large cities left so your size place is fine. I would like to know the spells you have though. Keep the number down and nothing fancy (fireball, create water....etc. You can tell what the spell is by the name.)

Bio: Zex is a warrior Like no other. He travels from town to town challenging there best fighters. These fights are not to the death But the town must pay him a handsome sum if there champion doesn't win and Zex always wins. You see he has a fighting style like no one has ever seen before. When he fights he uses a whip in his left hand and a sword in his right making him dangerous from near and far. Lately he has become bord and has set out to find a greater opponent.

He carries a sword, whip, And a small water bag. He dresses in Black leather with metal studs.

I'd love to join, so we can start this adventure.

I'll be playing a dwarven troll slayer.

Slayers are, if you are unfamiliar with them, dwarf's who have lost their honor in their clan, for some reason or another. They seek a noble death, which usually means tackling things at least ten times their size... which is where Troll's come in.

Tol'Chuk
He is around 4 feet tall.
No beard, he shaved it off, part of the slayer ritual.
His hair, while once another color, is not bright orange, almost a flaming red. He dyes it, with animal fat, which gives it a nice shine...
Carries a huge bloody dwarven warhammer, and absolutely no armor or shield. That kinda thing would be dishonorable in this one battle.

Make no mistake, this guy wants to find death. He thinks of it as a way to make up for his long past mistake. He acts a bit irrational, not like a normal dwarf, but can be loads of fun on an adventure.

hey Im curious .. I would love to play a strainght pc .. It reminds me of a dnd game way too much and I miss that terribly.. so .. if you have room for one more.. I would like to play a priest Human.. since there are rarely anyone who plays humans.. and


clerics are my fav.

Her name is Rowena. Age twenty. Why does she head to the mountains.. .. as the only surviving cleric in her temple.. that was destroyed when the war raided her village, she had no one. Her mother died when she was born which was just as well, her father never showed, having been an enemy warlord, who pillaged the village many years before. Her mother left her tribe in the forest and to give birth to her child in the village temple that was in the outskirts near the forest. KNowing that they would not harm her, and the temple cared for her since her birth. the Love of her Goddess is all she has ever known.

The only thing Rowena owns from her past is her mother's love, her name , and her green eyes. Her hair was a dark color and her skin tanned by the sun remains a golden brown.


She heads to the mountains in search of an answer torn and confused. She has visions to head to the mountains, believing they are visions from her Goddess. She heads there perhaps she will be needed there... who knows.. simply she knows she must go. She wears her cleric robes which are green and inlayed with yellow, had she been a high priestess, they would have been gold. All she carries with her is her staff which in defencse and her holy symbol tatooed on her arm, as well as a golden necklace that is in the shape of her symbol, that of a hands holding the sun.



so just an idea.. wanted to know if I could join??
