Dream: N: a series of thoughts, images, or emotions occurring during sleep.
There are those who will argue that the common dictionary's term of the word "dream" is inaccurate. There are those who say a dream is a path to another world. One of which that has far less limits to what is possible than we normally have to deal with in what we call "the real world."
We subconsciously control this plain of existence, twisting and contorting it to what we feel we need, we deserve, we want. It is there to comfort us, to live out the dreams and desires we think we may never deserve, to show us our deepest, most hidden fears.
The question of "what exactly is a dream?" remains. Is it really just a series of thoughts? Or can it be a window to another world? When we dream, are we truly alone? Or is it the only time we are truly capable of connecting to the whole world?
Like Sega before the epic crash of Dreamcast, I'm back again with a new thread (and for those who remember how I get my ideas, yes, the original idea isn't completely my own.) The basic idea is what occurs in our characters' dreams, and how it may or may not affect people in the real world. You can play both in the dream world as well as in the real world, or just stick around in the dream world all the time. Characters' "real" selves and their "dream" selves can differ as much as one would like.
Right now, a dream is just a dream, and reality is reality. But soon enough, those barriers are going to break down to an extent.
Name: Reiji "Solo" Alexander
Age: 21
Gender: Male
Location: Sandbridge CA
Eyes: Sea Green, has dark circles under eyes (mostly due to lack of sleep)
Hair: Grey Semi-Mop top
Appearance: Solo is slightly on the slim side, and even though he has tan skin, he does seem fairly pale. His often messy hair is long enough to cover his eyes, but he often has his hair under a navy blue and dark sea green bucket cap. Both his cargo jacket and cargo jeans are of the same color tone, while his short sleeve T-Shirt is black.
Dreamworld Appearance: Solo's appearance rarely, if ever, differs from his real world counterpart. The only real difference is Solo's hair is his natural hair color, auburn, instead of the gray color it has become. The only other (though seldom) difference is that his clothing colors tend to change to crimson and dark orange when his dreams get particularly tense.
Bio: Solo is a loner by nature, hence his nickname. So much so that he rarely ever makes physical contact with others, or even leaves his apartment for that matter. The most interaction outside of his computer is a stray cat that often crosses his window. Solo also has issues with sleep, as there are times he can stay awake for two days straight. Regardless of his lack of sociability and rest, Solo isn't as paranoid as some would think, he does have a tendency of randomly being headstrong, if not impulsive. Which may be why he can leave his apartment once in a while for task such as buying groceries.
Dream State: Although he does have other dreams, Solo tends to have one reoccurring theme, where he is running from an unknown threat. Every time he seems the most in danger, Solo wakes up. Recently, the dreams have been becoming more and more intense, to the point where he decided to start keeping a log of his dreams on a open blog, hoping to find some answers from an outside source.
(just a quick side note, you don't have to put this much information in your bios)
