OOC: Do I start to many threads???

Hey guys, as you all probably noticed I start alot of fantasy/sci-fi threads on this board. Actualy I'd say I'm responsible for about half of the fantasy/sci-fi threads here. And well I have alot of ideas for future threads but was wondering if you guys think I start to many threads and should give it a rest? I ask this because I want to start some more fantasy/sci-fi threads soon but was wondering if I'm doing to many of them and should stop. So what do you guys think???

First - this is a question for the general baord.

Second- Shoot you can't start to many threads, in my opinion anyway. As long as you can keep p with everything thats going on ... it's cool!!

I know this probably should have been posted at the general board but since it was about the amount of threads I start in this board I figured it would be better to ask here since some people that post here dont go to the general board. But in any case thanks for your opinion on this Ninian. Thats a good point you make.

I agree with Ninian. As long as you can keep up with them, and from what I've experienced you do, start all the threads you want. Worst case scenario, nobody will want to play.

Just out of curiousity, what else are you planning?

If you can keep up with the threads go for it. Didn't see any rules saying how many threads we can play in or start. Just enjoy and have fun is my moto.

Kitten Eyes, well I have a few things planed. Most of them are based on some sci-fi/fantasy type series and here are a couple of ideas that I'd like to start at some point soon: (some might sound kinda cheesy which is one of the reason I havent started them yet)

Another Star Wars thread but this one takes place during the prequels with me being a teenaged Anakin Skywalker and it taking place a few years after Phantom Menace.

An Aliens thread about a group of space marines that hunt down Aliens on a once populated planet.

A Pokemon thread(dont laugh)where we play the trainers and meet each other through Pokemon battles.

A DragonBall Z one with us being the characters after the android saga.

Another Superhero one but this would combine both Marvel, DC, Image, and Original creations into one story.

and a few others that I hope to get to at a later point. I watch way to much tv.

My Two Cents

Renegade, I hate to sound like an echo, but i agree, the only way you can have too many started threads is if you cant keep up with them all. You seem to balance them all out so post on.

As for your other ideas, I like your ability and originality in your posts. That's why I'm one of the devoted followers. So if you start them I'll be right in there with the others. I only hope I can get my computer fixed so I dont have to wait til I'm at work Saturdays and Sundays to post.

Yeah ... I really like the way you write.

I love all those sci fi threads .... I thought about joining in, but I know nothing about the original themes.

I'd just be in it for the sex ...

OOC: I think I come up with more ideas for threads than I can handle at the moment... I'm slowly cutting back. Some of those that have drifted down (Hot Arabian Nights for example) I would have liked to see kept alive, but, guess that's the way it goes. Can't say that I'm not a little fickle myself at times. Anyway Renegade, if you think you can handle it, go for it. We're here for fun and games, anyway, so as long as you're enjoying yourself...

There's twelve pages of 'smiley' icons at cracks smileys we can use to brighten up the posts to. (http://smilecwm.tripod.com/pokeicons.htm) I like manga (Ghost in the Shell, Appleseed, Akira and Dominion Tank Police amongst my favourites), but I'd just love to get a chance to take the p*ss out of Pokemon.

Yeah Pokemon is a kinda guilty pleasure for me. Its like watching a B-movie, its not that great but some things in it are so corny you have to like it. Maybe I should start a Pokemon thread. It probably would be different from the usual things I start up. Hmmm....

OOC: Give me a second and I'll start it up once I finish this post at the Farscape thread. I'm also a fan of Anime but unfortunatly the price of some of those tapes keeps me from buying them anymore. I got tired of paying like 30 dollars a month for one tape with like two 25 minute episodes on it you know? But I do love Akira and watch Dragon Ball Z on Cartoon Network alot. However I must say that as much as I like Anime to me the king of animation is The Simpsons! Just check out my signature to see what I mean.
