OOC: Crystal Kingdom

Ok this is my second attempt at a thread. My other one Pirate is still going strong but I am eager to give this one a try.

The Story:

The kingdom Crystalia was a kingdom of magic shrouded in mist. Not many people had ever seen the kingdom most thought it just a story. The kingdom was protected by 5 crystals. The Crystal of fire, located in the southern caverns of chaos. The Crystal of water located in the western Lakes of Rhapsody. The Crystal of Earth located in the northern Mountains of Majesty. The crystal of Air located in the eastern Fields of feircness. And last the crystal of Spirit kept withing the Crystaline Palace itself. Each crystal is gaurded by a sage. At a time of crisis each sage is awakened by the sage of spirit and brought to Crystalia. Then each sage is taken to their crystals where each sage's powers are awakened by becoming one with the crystal (the crystal entering their body) after all 4 elemental sages have awakened their powers they return to the Crystaline Palace where the 5th sage recieves his or her powers. Afterwards all the sages combine their powers and the pure energy of life spreads through the kingdom once again bringing peace.

A crisis has arisen once more. The dark riders threaten the peace of not only Crystalia but of the entire planet. It is up to the five sages to stop this evil from spreading and saving the world. The Five sages all come from different kingdoms. The kingdom of Terislie, the kingdom of Tarten, the kingdom of Silvenia and the Kingdom of Edilan and the fifth from Crystalia.

Ok what do you think? anyone want to join? I think this can either be one of the best threads or totally bomb.. hopefull it will be the first but one can only hope. The more the merrier joining just I want to try to at least get one from each kingdom.. you can be all the way from a king to a peasent it's up to you. just post your bio here and pm if you wish to be a sage.

INFO: Ariana is the 5th sage of spirit. At the age of 3 she began training in combat with various weapons as well as her hands. She is caring but also very stubborn. She hates having to leave her home land to awaken the sages but she knows that she must. The Priests have told her who the sages are and now she is one her way to find them. She is normally followed by a small fairy named Aneke. Aneke is mischeivous and full of energy. She is Ariana's best friend.

Info: Enkai is a royal member of Oseania, a tiny ancient ocean race based in the ocean near the Kingdom of Edilan. Like most Oseanians she has webbing between on her digits and can breathe as well in water as in air. She is very shy and of a quiet and gentle nature. As a royal family member, in addition to her innate ability in water-based magic, she is gifted with the ability to use water as a healing element. However, because she is Oseanian she has a low tolerance to extreme heat. Though she can live and survive out of water for some time, she must return and be rejuvenated by immersing her whole body in water every so often or risk grave illness and eventual death. She is unskilled in combat, depending solely on her water abilities.

i'm game, siren, if you'll have me of course. been a while since i've done anything non-sexual or at least less sexual (eyeing siren and jazzy's characters...damn, why couldn't this be a fantasy srp thread....?)

born from the forbidden coupling of a dark elf and a light elf, arithon has been much on his own for his life. appearing more like a lightelf except for his silver hair and uncommon lavendar eyes, he has a much stronger grip over the powers of the dark. having some control over light magic he keeps a few tricks up his sleeve. neither group would accept him, but he persevered through his life to win acceptance by those who hate him. he rose to become the sage of shadows. the bastard half breed has been downtrodden his entire life, but has a funny quirk about smiling. he usually has a slight smile, not of arrogance, but one from knowing things others don't percieve. he has heard a need for the sage of the shadows.

Name: Lawerence.
Age: 48.
Height/Build: 6'7", Muscular.
Hair: Grey, cropped extremely short except for a waist-length braid at the nape of his neck.
Eyes: A dark Blue.

Information: One of the greatest warriors of the Kingdom of Tarten, which is known for its warriors, he has been assigned to help in Ariana's quest to find the other sages. Or, as he puts it, "To follow around some child and make sure that orcs or some such thing don't kill our one chance for survival." He wears a dark blue long-sleeved shirt and pants. He has bvlack boots, and a metal breastplate and gauntlets he wears. A large belt around his middle has several beltpouchs and a large battle axe. He keeps a sword across his back and carries a large wooden staff. His face in wrinkled with age, but still full of life, he has a slightly large nose, and his face is constantly covered in stubble. His only companion is a large grey timberwolf, and the two share a minor telepathic connection, and oftentimes think alike. Although a very harsh-seeming person, he simply wants to do his duty and is a very nice person if you can manage to get to know the real him.

OOC: Someone brought something up to me, we don't have a Crystal of Shadows.. I have a good idea for this (thank you tmuyo) as you may have guessed tmuyo will be the sage of shadow but he will stay mysterious as to his kingdom it is up to him. I thought perhaps that the crystal of shadow could be kept outside of Crystalia in the land of the Dark riders. The way to there from Crystalia will be a portal located in an abandoned forest or Death... what do you people think?

Hmm. A sage of shadows? Land of Dark Riders? My warrior is begining to feel like his job may be getting more interesting by the moment. Next thing you know, we'll learn the sage of shadows is the one causing the crisis the others are trying to stop.

OOC: ok I am starting the thread right after this... I just wanted to post who was who as in sages so there is no confusion.. Please remember however that none of the sages know they are chosen yet. To most outside people Crystalia is just a legend.
