Set in the shifting sands of the Syrian landscape, in the foggy years of the early 12th century. Jerusalem has fallen to the savage, hairy barbarians of Chistendom. The Fragile Crusader Kingdom has placed stone to counter fear. The great Crusader Castles have risen out of the sand to loom over their conquered lands.
Poor Arabs cry out to thier Turkish masters in Damascuss, Bagdad, and Cairo, to avenge the wholesale slaughter and defilement of their lands. Petty squables keep the Turks from mounting any organized resistance, and they tried to get on with trade as best they can. Petty Emirs strike out on thier own. The Organized Knights of the Temple strike back without quarter.
Great cities see, and have seen blood, literally flow ankle deep in the streets. Armies of canibles devour captured garrisons; man woman, and child. Major battles of great armies are fought for food, water, caravan and pillgrim routes, and felt. The first terrorist group was formed to counter the christian threat.
This is a tale of two Templars setting out from their stronghold seeking God, Glory, Gold, and women. Not necissarily in that order, of course. They cross the paths of a Turkish slave caravan with some comely girls for trade. This is where we shall start, there may come a need for other characters later, but we shall keep it to the cast list below for now. Thanks, ~Swash~

One thing to remember about this era of history, is that it was a collasal failure. Less than half of all those mechanically put to the sword by the Christians did not aid in reducing the world population of Muslims. Most of those killed were of course Christians, living well under Muslim rule. Back home in Europe, programes were launched against Jews by those to poor to travel thousands of miles to battle a people that they knew nothing about. Instead they stayed home and began a process of mass murder that only cullminated in the second world war this century.
Above all its autroscities, the Crusades, turned Islam from looking to Christianinty as less enlightened brothers in the word of Allah. Into the hated enemy that the Crusaders ahd placed upon them out of ignorance and pure evil. All in God's name of course.
The shadow of the crusades hang over the heads of all religions as one of the greatest crimes against humanity ever perptrated.
"The Christians, the Muslims, all have it wrong. There are but two kinds of men in the world. Those with brains and hold no religion; and those who have religion and no brains." A wise old Muslim Philosopher left that to us...
