OOC: Classic XMen

[Isolde]

This is the OOC for an Xman thread. (Yes, ANOTHER one!). This one is for a limited number of people and we have our cast of characters.

The cast is:

Kitsuke Wolverine
Lava Storm
Neale Prof. X, Beast
Isolde Emma Frost
Angelus Gambit
Black Widow Jean Grey
Dirk13 Cyclops

I will be starting the thread but both Neale and I would like to limit the OOC in that thread so we have dedicated this one for just that.

The name came from me.

Isolde bears no blame for the name. I knew full well what the 'proper' elements of the Classic XMen would be, however, I didn't particularly care When I set up this thread, I was trying to get what I thought were the most interesting characters that non-comic geeks would be likely to know. Angel/ArchAngel was replaced because, frankly, he was lame to begin with. Iceman, while not lame, isn't nearly as interesting as Wolverine or Gambit. Storm was added because Lava does a great 'roro.

I just had a thought, maybe Neale and Isolde can keep a lookout for a person to play Nightcrawler (i just mentioned him in the last post in the story thread). If you want to keep it just to us, I just have always thought he was pretty cool and he is at least rather Classic.

Um, apparently, I didn't see this thread, and I had some computer probs for about three days, my part was apparently taken. Nice. Real nice. *sarcasm* sorry guys.....Black Widow is a real good friend of mine, she is rooming with me...hence the lack of her presence...she says hi....lol....I am back...

Lava your part was not taken. We simply got someone to play it on a temporary basis because Neale hadnt seen you online and we were afraid it was health problems again.

In fact, if you read the posts, you will see that it starts out that they are only there until you come back and take over the parts. Storm was put in there specifically because we wanted you in the thread and Najia had the part at first and doesnt have the time to do it so had given it up.

I am sorry if your feelings got hurt about it but it was simply ment to keep the thread alive...not replace you. In fact the posts were deleberately kept to a minimum so that you two could develop the characters yourselves.

On a personal note

Assuming Lava and Isolde don't catch me first, I'm going to be away this weekend. This thread means a lot to me, so please have fun and post lots while I am gone I'll be back Sunday, I think.
