I'm sorry, I'm new and I was just wondering, does that mean that I'm not supposed to put OOC stuff in the other thread but post it in here instead? Wouldn't that get a bit confusing? Hmmm...

Well, when we want to discuss which way to take something, we can do it here, and not clutter the main thread. We can always back-edit our posts as questions get answered, but it's actually easire to do it in a separate thread, IMHO, anyway. Makes for better reading over there, too.

Did you need to hit a dictionary for that one? Usually a mishap, or blunder in a social setting. I like to use rare and obscure words on occasion, provided their meanings can be gleaned from the context.

and that proffesorial rant is an example of the loquacious nature that earned me the nickname, "The Beast", after the comic book character in the X-Men. The fact that I'm big and kind of hairy just added to it.

Up it goes again. Hoping I am taking this the direction you wanted. My post was the only way I could think of to find the kitchen. Once there I think we might watch a bit, to make sure she is okay. Getting all hot and bothered in the meantime, maybe playing with the two of us?

I've heard worse ideas. This was originally supposed to be a break-in, semi-traumatic, eveything-turns-out-okay, B & D thread, but everyone arriving at once and the fact that I accidentally made Jim a kinky "Knight in Tarnished Armor" have all conspired to keep the bondage at an absolute minimum. I'm a little disappointed on that angle, but maybe we can find a way to fix that. I'm still thinking, and coming up dry on the ideas. The floor is now open to comments from the representatives.

Umm, I'm sorry guys, because *~*~*I won't have access to this message board after Wednesday night and I don't know when I'll get it back*~*~*. I'm going back to college, where there's a filter that blocks "porn," and I believe this site is blocked. Grrrr. So I won't be able to post on here until I get the internet in my apartment, and I have no clue when that'll be. Poor me. So anyways, we're gonna have to get rid of Erin pretty soon, huh? I hate to leave the threads I'm in, but it can't be helped. Hopefully it won't be a very long absence. I don't know what the normal procedure is for situations like this. Do you, SpectreT? I guess I'll just put a note in each thread I'm in that it'll be my last post for a while, maybe have my characters commit suicide or go into comas or something. Hmmmm, I may have to get creative. Any ideas?

The best way is to try to exit your character gracefully. I know, not always possible. Also post a thread, start one where you explain it all. That way everyone sees.

Okay, my plan is for Erin and Jim to start to get busy in the cafeteria laundry room, and then Jim hears a noise and goes to investigate, leaving Erin alone there for an indetermined amount of time (maybe forever), since I'm gonna have to abandon the thread soon. Does that sound okay??

I may have to start a new IC thread, though, since Erin didn't get to depart the thread "in Character", I can't think of a graceful; way to write her out, after all, her character stayed behind to save money rather than rejoin her family at christmas time.

Okay, the new thread is up and ready; I know the bondage thing fascinates you a bit, Merelan, so let's see what you can do with the setup I gave you. Originally, I was going to have it be a little forceful, as in the female lead wasn't expecting it, didn't like it at first, but grows into it quickly; but the presence of two extra, brassy, bold, defenders of the little lamb's virtue made my choices divide and conquer, or rule by terror. And I'm not the rule by terror kind of guy.

Interesting Story

I noticed that you may be short a character with eepy's departure. The story intrigues me, especially the bondage aspect, and was wondering if there might be room for me. i am somewhat new to this forum but find myself addicted to it already.

Going to pay her different guys. She has needs she doesn't understand. Like the need to give up control, yet she fights it. Spectre may end up teachin her a few things in the process.

Me? Wordy? Blame it all on me reading Tolkein in the sixth grade for an extra credit paper in English, my favorite subject. Blame it on all the incredible things I've read since then. Blame it on the fact that I'd like to get as many people who read my words involved, be it emotionally or intellectually. I hope someday to get paid for this little hobby of mine (i.e., writing) and from the response I've gotten on the beginning of what could be an epic ("Tuesday", posted right here at Lit...{shameless plug}), I'm guessing I've got potential, especially if I get myself an agent and an editor.

Anyway, MtnAngelWV, hope you have fun in my little playground.....
