Now that our Camelot thread has settled down a bit, Neale and I (dont give me that look...it wasnt the puppy dog eyes this time) were wanting to start and impossible romance story.
The plot of the story is this:
An older knight has spent his life doing good deeds, rescuing the maiden in distress and generally being a good Knight in Shining Armor.
He has now retired and has taken on a younger knight to train as is tradition. He has also, in settling down, taken on a young wife. It is an arranged marriage and both families are happy with the arrangement.
Well, in due course, the young knight and wife fall in love. Her marriage to the older knight is a good one but, frankly, she is not exciting since she is so nieve (yes I can too play nieve!) and he has found his pleasures with other ladies in his vast lands he now owns. In fact there is this one particualar kitchen wench...ahh but I get off track.
The young knight also has a younger sister who is about fed up with him not acting on his feelings for the wife. The truth is, they are both very honorable and will not step over the line here so it is a very tragic love. The wife is determined to be faithful to her husband at all cost.
Step in the sister of the young knight. A beautiful woman full of fire. Quite frankly she is tired of her brother mooning around about the wife and she plans on doing something about it.
She goes to the older knight's house to see this woman her brother is so entranced with and guess who she sees and falls in love with. Yup. So now we have the husband and sister in love and wanting the two young lovers to run off together which would give them the opportunity to declare a divorce and they could get together themselves.
The plot hinges on the plotting of the two to get the young knight and wife in a situation where they not only have to declare their love for one another but must act on it also.
Its not going to be easy but it should be fun. We need at least two more people to play the husband and sister...they need to be very good at devious plots.
Neale will be the young knight and I will be the wife. We want to see what kinds of situations we can get out of and how creative we can be.
