Sex, Drugs, Rock n Roll



So here's the idea for this one. Up-and-cumming rock n roll group the Guardians have just finished their first record and are starting a club tour to promote it. The Guardians are a hard-rockin' power trio with a psychedelic edge. Their record is called "At the Gates" and it's eleven tracks take over an hour to play all the way through. Their live show features a mix of blues and rock n roll with lots of improvised extended solos from everyone of the three players in the band.

Guitar: Tommy Orion. 5'11", athletic but lanky, long curly brown hair past his chin, almost always wearing reflector aviator sunglasses in front of his chocolate brown eyes.

Bass: Brian McCormack. 6'2", solidly built, muscular guy with short, spiked red hair, freckles, green eyes, and a wickedly charming grin.

Drums: Kitty Jenkins. 5'6" fox of a woman, weighing in at 130 lbs and boasting measurements of 36C-24-36, with a very well toned body from playing drums every day for most of her life. She is into the rhythm of things. She doesn't have time to date at all, but Tommy and Brian have both fucked her any time she has requested.

All three sing, different parts in different songs, sometimes coming together for some wicked harmonies, but mostly letting the more powerful instruments in their hands do the talking.



This is the story of their first cross-country tour. None of them have ever been out of California (not counting Las Vegas). They have smoked pot (Tommy smokes frequently), are known to drink copiously, and they all have a "try anything twice" attitude towards life.

I'd like to do a pretty long GM-led story with this, so here's what I need:

Someone willing to play Brian for the longhaul.

Someone willing to play Kitty for the longhaul.

And lots of guest appearances. I'm thinking groupies, drug dealers, fans, producers, MTV, latchers-on, scam-artists, and anything else ya'll can think of.

Anyway, anyone who's interested in any of the above characters should post up!

Okay, didn't realize there would be such quick interest.

In the interest of having an interesting story to tell, I'm gonna give the parts to whoever posts up the best background for Kitty and Brian. Feel free to change their names if you want. PM me if you're interested in potentially bringing another instrument to the group. This thing is fluid, there are lots of options, I want to see just what we can do with the idea.

Katie(Kitty) has had trouble all her life.From her abusive home life to her being sent away to juvie.Everything seems to have went wrong for her.Both her parents were alcoholics and her mom would emotianally abuse her,while her dad would physically abuse her.Shewould leave home for days on end and would steal to get stuff she needed.She had been caught three times and this landed her in juvie.She was there for 3 1/2 years and she loved it there because she knew she was away from her parents. When she got out she met Brian and Tommy.They decided to form a band and have become great friends since.

My Brian Background

Brian lived in a run down home in what could only be described as the bad part of town. His parents even though times were really rough for them, were always there for him, until his Junior year in High School. It was then when his father left him and his mother to fend for themselves. His dad had found some hot young chick, and ran off with her, mentioning something about how she could do things in bed that mom could only dream about, not what Brian really wanted to hear.

This just made times tougher on Brian and his mom. She had to pick up a second job just to make it so Brian could finish school.Brian never really enjoyed school that much, but he knew that he needed to finish high school, even if college wasn't a choice for him just so he could have a chance to get a decent job. Brian himself worked part time fitting it in whenever he could at the local factory. Brian eventually did get through school, and took his mom out for dinner the night after graduation to show her just what she meant to him.

It wasn't until after high school though, that he really started to enjoy parties. Through out school he needed to stay fit. He played fullback for the school football team, along with playing the guitar and he just didn't have time to hang out with friends, especially after his father left. After he graduated, he met a few people at work who invited him to a party. He accepted the invite, and quickly experienced everything that he missed in High School, somethings he enjoyed, others he didn't. It was also at one of these parties that he met Kitty and Tommy, they became friends, when one they while they were hanging out they decided to form a band. Now that they are going out on tour, Brian hopes for the best, wanted to provide a better life for his mom from now on to reqard her for all the hard work she did when he was younger.

Well okay then! (I have ideas for the other characters I mentioned if you'd like to hear those as well. )

In my mind, Kitty has thick, curly, bright red hair - think Reba McEntire in the 80s, only not done up that big. Green eyes, always done up with dark mascara and eye liner, even if it's the only makeup she wears. It might even be permanent. She became interested in music at a young age - a toddler really, singing into her play microphones and performing for her family. She loved "I Love Rock-N-Roll" by Joan Jett as a child, and remembers sitting in front of the speakers at 4 years old screaming along with it at the top of her little lungs. She's in her late twenties, but feels older than that most of the time. When drunk, which she enjoys doing with the guys around, she's quite the little show-off, and the guys accuse her of being a flirt. She supposes that they are probably right, but she enjoys the attention - and allows more touching and inuendo - than most of the girls she would consider to fit that term.
She joined the band in school in the fifth grade, trying out this instrument and that, finally deciding on the drums in junior high school. By this time she had taught herself to play the piano, and could play fairly fluently on any of the wind instruments, though she preferred the barry sax. She could toot on the brass, but her enthusiasm for the music made it difficult for her to hold her mouth in the correct position for very long. She loved the drums because she could hum a harmony line, or an alternate melody. She enjoyed the mallet instruments, but those were difficult to tote around with the band really. In high school, she had outpaced the other percussionists with her solos, and mostly enjoyed the jazz band where she rotated playing drums, piano, and vibraphone if the song needed one. Tambourines are her favorite accessory, and she carries one in her bag for those inspired jam sessions.

She was introduced to the drugs and rock lifestyle her senior year, and just fit right into it. She wasn't a junkie, but enjoyed the social smoke whenever she got the chance. It intensified the music, but she wasn't one to get inspired for new licks on it. Made it easier to listen to, just not to play it. She hates undergarments, and very seldom wears a bra - she prefers shirts that will support her, and plummeting necklines, and bare midriff to show off her naval piercing. SHe wears her bottoms as low around her hips as she can get them without them rolling down, and that exposes the tattoo which mimics the old record album - the drummer in the flames. (Forgive my memory as I'm drawing a blank on the band. I'm sure you remember it. LOL) On her ankle is another tat - one she got when she turned 18, of a heart with an arrow through it. She's considering a grapevine on her shoulder and down her arm, with a sword through the bunch horizontally and a lightening bolt vertically.

She keeps her pussy shaved, and tans on the roof of the van in the nude, exposing that other piercing. She wasn't sure she should get it, but enjoys it now.... She loves to look at the guys, and is hot for them, but spends a lot of her time behind the set, pecking away at her licks. Every now and again it will be too much for hre - the thrill of the music, the molding of the group as they perform in front of the screaming fans, and then the after-show parties.... But the guys have never complained.
She's just a girl, looking for a great time, great music, a little cash and a little play on the side. She's found where she fits and she'd good with it, and the only thing she misses is a best friend.

I'm thinking they gigged at the same place in the early days, and have been together for a while now. They just jived together, having played around after the sets that night, and have jammed and hung together ever since, before finally having enough of a career to do a little touring and shows in bigger cities.
