OOC Casting Call - Forbidden Games

They say that there are nine worlds that coexist along eachother but never touch...

Asgard, where the gods live... surronded in silver and gold...
Vanaheim, where less important gods live, world of primal water and plently...
Alfheim, world of light and air, home of the light elves and good spirits...
Jotunheim, world of primal storms
Hel, the underworld
Svartalheim, the Subterranean world
Muspelheim, the world of primal fire
Niflheim, the shadow world,

And of course, Earth....

But what happens when beings from the world of shadows fall for beings from Earth?.... What happens when the worlds that only coexisted side by side but never joined, never touched, actually become a part of eachother? What if the shadow world found a loop hole, though a forbidden game?

Sarah has been watched for years by a man from the shadow world. A being who has, over the years, fallen in love with her. But Sarah has her own life, her friends and her boyfriend. To capture her the prince of shadows plans on drawing them into the most forbidden of games - the contest for a human soul.

Sarah's friends are detremined to help her win, but it will be a difficult task.

I will be playing Sarah, and the shadow man.. unless of course someone thinks they can play an ultra - cool, dark and sexy prince of shadows. I need people who are willing to fill the parts of Sarah's boyfriend, and her friends. You are welcome to make up your own custom characters. The basic of the storyline, for the first part will be this: (this is for anyone who wants to be the prince)

Its Sarah's boyfriend's birthday and she is struggling frantically to find the perfect present for him. She ends up wandering into the dangerous back alleys of New York, and finally winds up in a store called "More Games". Waiting for her in the store, unknown to her, is Julian, the shadow man. He suggests that she buy a white rectangler box for the party. The box itself is actually a model of an old victorian house, and when it is put together and certain words are said, it becomes a dimensional portal that trap Sarah and her friends inside. The object of the game? They each have to overcome a nightmare and make it to the top of the house before time runs out... Several confrontations happen between Sarah and Julian of course, as he tries to win her heart and convience her to be with him....

Outfit: Blue jeans, blue collared shirt with three butons, and a baise tranch coat left unbuton all the time.

Bio: Depends on where Leo put. I may be the boy friend if you want. I may be the dark prince if you want. I am also capable of being a friend. Leo is confident, quiet, and relaxed.

Height : 1.8 m (6' 2")
Weight : 90 kg (200 lbs)
Hair : Bald headed (as in the latest fad)

Actually full first name is Heathcliffe but no one calls him that. NO ONE. Just ask Jax about the chip in his front tooth, gotten when they were 12 years old. So it's Heath. Other than that, he's pretty relaxed as well. He's not cool as far as coolness is described. He's just an ordinary guy trying to make his way through the world. He did not go to college after high school as his parent's could not afford it, and his grades were just a tad bit below the average needed for a scholarship. He's not an athlete although his build would suggest otherwise. An owner of a gym had agreed to give him boxing lessons in exchange for cleaning the gym and locker room, and of course the toilets. God help those who can't aim...

But his main job is helping his dad with their family-owned construction company. Years of working outdoors has given him a fairly good tan, but it has also given rough and calloused hands. Someday, he'll inherit the company, but for now, he's still one of those workers under his dad's supervision. (The least favorite job, even lower than cleaning toilets, is the installation of rock-wool insulation for rich peoples' houses. He'll be itching for days, even after numerous baths.) There is a mud-encrusted and faded sign on the doors of the truck that says:

Est. 1939

He drives a truck. A legacy from his dad, a beat-up crimson-red Ford 150, that drinks more oil than gas. But it's large enough to take Sarah places, especially to out-of-way corners for a quiet together time. He's saving up money for a house, which he's going to build for Sarah. Which is partly the reason why he wears faded jeans, safety boots and plaid shirts. People can make fun of his shirts, as long as no one mentions Heathcliffe...

(Besides, this blue one was last year's birthday gift from Sarah...)

Yep, all characters are good. I'm going to go ahead and start and if more people want to join then thats fine ^^;

Cats, if you want you can be the demon prince.. I will pm you in a moment. I will also be playing 3 more people that are Sarah's friends.

Dee - Sarah has known Dee since she was in kindergarten, Dee is a warrior in all senses. An african - american with a lean yet musclar stature with soft velvet - like brown hair that is cut short around her face. Dee craves adventure and loves a challenge.

Audrey - Audrey just recently moved to Sarah's town, she is sort of stuck up from growing up in a sophisicated household. She is well educated in culture matters but is usually more concerned with her apperance than anything else

Micheal - Aundrey's boyfriend, he is slightly chubby and reminds you of a big teddybear. He care's greatly for everyone but worries too much.

Dang I was going to hit on Audrey if I was the cousin. let me try the dark prince for a bit and see if I can get into character. Leo will most likely be a cousin and back up incase I can't do a villain.

Kain will be the other one. He's 6 foot even and weighs about 130 lbs. So as you can imagine he is slim. he has blue eyes similar to Jax Loki's. In fact identical to Jax Loki's. His hair is short with the exception of long bangs in the front. His face is slightly tanned and free of all blemishes. His hair his a true black, something hair dye can't make. His outfit at this point is a set of jeans and a blue dress shirt. It is perfectly cleaned and pressed.

Kain is simply Julians choice of name at this time.

since I absolutely loved that book I just have to get on some of this action

here the character idea

Name : Raven
Age : 20
Height : 5'3"
Weight : 125 lbs
Hair : long dark wavy hair
Eyes : almond shaped mayple colored syrup eyes

Raven just moved into a neighborhood which is the basic suburbanite area. Is Sarah's new neighbhor. Being one of the few Indian families in the area. raven sticks out like a sore thumb. She's got the light golden colored skin. Like a permament tan. She keeps her hair tied up in a heap of waves around the top of her head, she keeps it up with a pencil. She usually has two in there, one to keep her hair up the other to use.She's got this curvacious body, but has no idea how to dress it, basically dressing like an eccentric artist. In a black tank top, that shows a hint of cleavage, a long sleeve flannel that the sleeves are rolled up two inches below the elbow and a long blood red broomstick skirt. Sarah became friends with her recently. Raven is basically a bookworm. She recently moved in. Raven lives in her books, craves to do all the things she's not allowed to. Outward she's the goody two shoes... innerly however, she's wildcat jsut waiting to come out.. she dreams of doing things that would make her parents hair turn white. Joined the art, glee and history club. she loves the medieval times.

Yes well thank you for the compliment. I hope I can keep it going smoothly, as I don't play villains often.

Sorry I probably shouldn't of commented but I am big on waiting for a reply from the threads owner before jumping in. I have seen a few cases where that sort of thing was extremely important. I guess I consider it good manners now. Any ways you checked with her before hand, so I should be quiet now.

Also Leo might be coming after Raven so I would watch out. I'll try to romance large numbers of women in a single thread, it's what I do.

Yes well Leo loves a challange. Raven doesn't even have to be actractive. He's all about the hunt. Raven's jsut sport for him. So would sarh but the cousin thing gets in the way. He's trying to find a way around that how ever. Because she may be a good hunt.

I think Vbabe had otehr things come up and lsot Lit as a priority. Sad thing is many good trheads have died like that.
