OOC/Casting Call for The Barren War: A very Erotic RP

This, being the first rp I have started on these forums, is an rp unlike any other I have ever started. I have, however, been thinking about it for a very long tiime and it is loosely plotted around an erotic romance I am beginning to write.

The Story Summarized:
In a time and land far removed from our own there are a people who fight a Darkness that threatens not only to spread maddnes across thier world, but leave it a barren mass carried on the back of an endless night.

Already the Darkness has taken from them the ability to birth children. Now even the humans have the birthrate of little more than the elves and dwarves- both of whom are now completely barren. Only 4 children have been born in the world in the last 25 years. Three humans and one halfling.

This is a time of great sorrow, for if children are not soon born then humanity will die of nothing more than old age. But, to again have the ability to have children, the last Great King and his First Wife must battle this Darkness alondsife companions of sometimes questionable merit and motive.

The story begins during the Festival of Fertility, a festival undertaken every 19 years in hopes of a prophesied child being born to a powerful King and Queen of fantastic talents. This festival can only take place when the two moons meet, and it is said even the gods mate.

This is their story, the story of the Known World. It is a story of a great and bloody war and the Quest to return children to a barren land.

This is a very erotic story based around seduction, dominance and submission, loyalty and deciet, war and -hopefully- peace.

If you would like to join this rp there are only a few things you need to know other than what is in this post and what will b ein the post made in teh opening of the rp thread.

The races that can be taken are as follows- some races ar elimited:
-Elves and Dwarves- Very rare in the Known World. I will only allow 1 more of these to be played. 1 elf has been taken
-Shapeshifters- Very Very Rare there will be no more of these played This character is being played
-Humans- These are the bulk of characters within the world - there is no limit on them 4 Humans are being played- no limit (this does not count the king and queen)
-Halflings- In the Known World there are only 1 of them to every 15 humans. No Halflings are being played

There is magic within the world, though limite due to what seems to be a draining of the Sourece by the Darkness. The maind Goddess of good right now is Aila of Light, first and most loved daughter of the Creator. She is the mother of the Source, and is the embodyment of such. If the Darkness continues to spread and draw from teh Source Aila will die. Her symbol is that of a white owl upon the night sky.

Weapons: Thin long sword made a special extra strong metal alloy; Small throwing blades kept in her boots when travelling and on the battle field.

Skills: Strong in combat; Broken Foresight (the gift of foresight, through broken up, the iomages do not come in a strait line and often have to be puzzled out to determine the true context); wisdom in the way of men and their weaknesses; a good motivational speaker and leader; Good spy (stealthy)

Appearance: Slender enough to look taller than she is, Healthy altheletic body, long dark hair, chocolate brown eyes, proportianal body (Large C-cup with matching hips and slender wasit)

Apparal: Off the battle fireld: Usually a sheer or reavealing gown, hair down, bare feet
On the battle field: Men's breeches and tunic, boots and belt, chain mail. Hir tied high through a helmet of silver and gold, a single dark ruby above and Between the eyes.

Biograohy:
Solys is among the 4 children that were born after the Darkness spread and made all of the Known World barren. Two years younger than the King, she is praised as being the most beautiful woman in the kingdom and she was taken as his wife and given teh title of First Wife.

Before the king took her as his wife, though, she had been a princess in her own kingdom. The only child of the young King and Queen she would have married a strong warrior and ruled her homeland. The Darkness had other ideas, though, and a madness spread through her people. The king and queen were killed at the hands of their own subjects- when then turned upon themselves. None but the princess survived, and that was simply by wit and stealth. The demise of her kingdom came to be known as The Bloody Fall of Treimok.

Solys came to the kingdom od SentaWeulf, once the center of teh Known World and the most prosperous and honourable of the kingdoms, when whe was 13. Already the King, the 15 year old ruler, last of the line BealaWeulf, married the princess in recognition of the honour of the Kings and Queens of Treimok.

It did not take long for Solys to use her wiles, as well as her wisdom, to work her way into the title of First Wife. It was discovered that she was as skilled in battle as she was the bed at the Battle of Redfall- the famed battle where the king saved nearly all of the nomadic kingdom neightboring SentaWeulf. He brough the 2000 survivors, now homeless, into his kingdom and gave them homes, and he honoured his First Wife for her hand in the great victory.

Now it is Solys' dream to save the Known World from the Darkness at teh side of her King.

Most of all Solys is deathly loyal to her husband. She would freely give her life for him, and has already surrendered her freedom. More than her husband, he is her Lord Master (a title used by concubines and slaves for that which they revere as being Master of all Masters - that which they freely give their body, mind, and soul to to serve until the day they die - Most who are called Lord Master by a slave or concubine will not sell said slave or concubine out of respect for their undying service and loyalty) and King.

At this point, all charatcers have the ability to become important to the story. I fyou want a truly important female role, I would go with the elf. Humans can also be important, it all depends on what skill they use and how good they are at it. You could be a hum or elf pathfinder- that will be an important role as you will have to have a hightened sense of things. You could also be a spellcaster- we could use someone who starts out with a Lesser magic the becomes a strong magician.

Its all up to you, but it needs to be made clear that any and all characters have the oppertunity to become VERY inportant characters.

I don't set restriction on what you can and can not rise to.

Name: Heathcliff Sadler (known as The Black or Quickblade)

Race:Human
Allignment: Mostly good but has no problems with doing things some would consider evil.
Weapons: Long sword the metal folded by Shirmor the great sword maker, small crossbow which can be held easily in one hand capable of firing four bolts before needing to be reloaded, two small blades attached to his wrist that can flick out to a point just beyond his closed fists

Skills: Quick beyond most humans , deadly shot with any bow and completely fearless.

Appearance: Slender toned body hiding powerful legs and arms,black hair and black eyes some say he has elven blood

Apparal: Black ,light tightly woven cloth , hunting boots and a black woolen cape that reaches from just below his waist to cover his head and put his eyes in shadow.

Bio: His mother died in child birth as his father died fighting bandits attacking their small farm. His uncle found him two days later but he had no time to raise a child and he was placed in the care of an aged woman in the village.

She died when he was eight and his uncle wanting to be rid of the child gave him a small pouch of coin and told him to go to the city and gain employment.

As he travelled to the city he came across a dying soldier who had been attacked by bandits. Heathcliff had grown up on tales of the bandits who attacked his father and the description of the gangs markings were the same. Heathcliff waited with the soldier until he died them took the mans sword and what coin he had on his person and followed in the direction of the gang.

For two months he chased them until he reached a lake in a place he had no knowledge of , the gang of 30 plus men were all dead killed by a lone warrior. Heathcliff walked up to the bodies and in anger began plunging the soldiers sword into their lifeless bodies.

The warrior took the boy in, feed him and not knowing what else to do passed on his talents to the boy.

At 16 Heathcliff returned to the lands of his childhood and found his place in society killing those who chose to take rather than earn.

Reason for Joining: He's bored , as simple as that, nothing challenges him anymore and in his heart he knows he is missing something in his life.

Vander Silverbell
Age: 1,825 Years of Age
Race: Elven
Allignment: Neutral
Weapons:
Bow of Solstice -- This bow was crafted from a very strong oak wood. It's as flexible as the smallest vines and yet strong enough for even the sharpest blade to have a decent amount of trouble destroying it. The problem with this bow is that stringing it can be very difficult and takes hours to accomplish. However, once strung, this bow is very accurate and powerful if used correctly. Another disadvantage to this bow is that the arrows fired from it have to be larger than most.

All in all, it's a great weapon but troublesome to use. Side weaponry is highly suggested. This takes too much time to use and isn't really ideal for close quarters combat. That's why the user of this bow would be wise to use some other weaponry.

Leather Whip -- Vander has grown very accustomed to using his whip. He was once an animal tamer in his days of youth. Now that he's a full blown warrior his skill and resolve has not diminished. With this, he can grip onto objects and retrieve them without the use of touch. He could even use it as a weapon. Whips hurt after all if used in that manner.

Skills:

Knowledge -- Vander's combat skills and hunting knowledge is a force to be reckoned with. He isn't that great of a fighter and isn't all that in combat. However, he doesn't need the normal attributes of strength that would normally be found in a beserker, the speed of a cheetah or the defense of a tortoise to win a confrontation. He could sijply use his worldly knowledge to win or to get knowledge on a situation. He has lived far longer than any human and probably more so than some other creatures. Therefore, he could almost say that he has been there and done that.

Hunting -- The guy's amazing when it comes to hunting and identifying animals. He knows how to track, view, spy and get the kill.

Appearance: He is tall. We're talking six feet, 10 inches tall. He has a slender type of build and seems to not possess much muscle at all. He has silver blue colored eyes, brown hair, and pastry white skin. He is normally dressed in light weight steel armor with chair mail covering his head. He wears a quiver with bows inside of it, carries his bow and a whip latched onto his side.

Apparal: Steel suit of armor, chain-mail, black boots, black gloves and a black cape.

Bio:

Vander is a troubled soul. He has been through a lot in his lifetime and wishes for the constant adventuring to end. Throughout the time that he was old enough to fight Vander has been a warrior. He used to live in an elf village until that village was attacked by evil warlords bent on using the elven as slaves. The elf people knew the woods very well and that would be an advantage to any force aiming to imprison those people. Slave camps were set up and Vander's parents were unfortunate enough to be captured.

A small rag, tag band of elves rised up against the evil forces and defeated them with will power alone. Vander was deemed a hero along with some other of his brothers in arms. From that point on, his name and deeds would take a launch point. He strived to be an adventurer and managed to get exactly what he wanted. There was never a dull moment in his life. He even got a chance to be an animal trapper and hunter along with the constant traveling.

His name would not go unnoticed. Upon seeing a tire to his travels Vander enlisted himself into the human royal army as a top ranking general. It was unusual for any elf to take up such an occupation but the foolhardy Vander certainly didn't have a problem with it. Was it a mistake?

Reason for Joining/Opposing the Quest: Vander's one of the king's most trusted men. On top of that, he's using this new ranking position to gain more money to retire from the military and go on to do more adventuring. There's things yet to be discovered...

HOWEVER: if you would like to play an imprtant female and would like to play on the opposing side, will need a villain, but we would have to work closely so that the story moves smoothly.

I do have a plot for the first part of teh rp, and I am sure the rest will develop in my mind as it moves along. I will try to remain just far enough ahead of the story to keep it moving, but not so far that I can't change it to better fit something that comes up.

Abilties: Spellcaster, she not not yet as good as her mother but her mother keeps telling her that she needs to get involved with something and get away from the city for her skills to develop. She has some martial arts type of abitlies as well as three throwing knives.

Discription: very pale blond hair (almost white)long, almost down to her waist, usually kept braided, makes those who do not look closely thing she is a lot older the she is. 5ft 4, dark blue eyes, slender.

Alignment: she is good and very loyal to the crown.

history: Geean grow up learning and has done little but study most of her life. Her mother taught her some basic healing abilties as well as spell work and reading and wirting, not to mentions the normal life skills, Her father taught her how to fight and to throw knives very acuratly.

There is little more she can learn in the sheltered environmnt of her family home so she is ready to head out on an adventure.

I really like the profiles we have so far, and I expect three more up within the day. I still haven't heard back from my King, but we can move some things allong without him- hust not to far. Until I hear from my King I will vaguely do any answers or movements he needs within my posts.

As for a female body guard, it is definitely a welcome idea, and she could be like a secondary body guard to both the king and queen but the shapeshift is taking up that position for strictly the Queen.

How about making her a captain of the guard battalion? If the shapeshifter holds no actual military rank, then she could do that instead and sort of be an emergency-only leader, meant to take control of any forces necessary to ensure the king and queen's safety.

For the record, I prefer to have her be exclusively the bodyguard of one of the royal couple. I would like to RP someone who is a close friend of one of them, so as to add some more depth to them/her.

That would be a good way to work it. The shapeshifter is her personal guard for reasons of his own, and as the Elf, Varden, is suposed to be the most trusted of the King's men, I woul dlikehim to basicly play the king's protection.

I was goping to keep this for later to develop-so the characters can not know it or guess it or it won't play out right- but the fir post ends up being the conception of the prophesied child- so there will be a lot of use for important personal/body guards.

Well, here is the shape shifter.

Name among the locals: Lufia
True Name: Equ

Age: 127 (can live to be around 200)

Race: Shape Shifter or thepanform

Alignment: ordered and neutral.

Weapons: A magic ring of thepanform design. It hardens the bone and flesh of limb wearing it allowing that limb to strike much harder then normal. Like many magic items of thepanform design it can change its size and shape with the wearer.

Skills: Shape shifting: Young shape sifters are limited to humanoid forms. Threw age and experience Equ has learned to break that limitation at the cost of extra energy.
Martial Arts: Thepanform often don't have the luxury of properly crafted weapons, as such they have developed techniques in unarmed combat that use the most common weapons, 4 limbs, jaws, and a tail.
Eye for Details: In a few seconds of observation she can catch many details others won't. This comes from a lifetime of passing for other races and other creatures. Many thepanforms actually develop a photographic memory, but Equ often makes new individuals rather coping existing ones and never attained that level of memory.
Occupational: Equ has been a carpenter (with modest success), a tavern maid (a little cleavage goes a long way), a hunter ( and occasionally game birds), and a trophy wife (see tavern maid). Currently though Equ is Lufia body guard and attendant to Queen Soyls BaelaWeulf (most experience in this job).

Appearance: True Form: Equ like all thepanforms appears genderless to any one who has not studied there kind in great detail. Equ to those knowing how ever is male. Thepanforms look like humans with a skin color one shade brighter then the darkest black. Equ has large blue eyes and shoulder length hair two shades lighter then his skin. His true face shows the tell tale wrinkles of some one starting the second half of their life. His 5'6" build is fairly fit but not overly muscular. On his leg rests a large scar from his youth.

Lufia: This ongoing role of Equ is of a young elf maiden only in her fifth century of life. She is the one attendant Soyls had upon arriving in the kingdom. She has light blond hair that reaches half way down her back kept i place with one hair tie. She has green eyes a delicate nose and slightly larger then normal ears. Her curves are soft and gradual. She is 5'6" with a modest B-cup. On her back just above the right side of her bottom is a six pronged star of green vines, an Elvin symbol for a long and free life.

Apparel: Equ in his true form is comfortable in loose clothing or nothing but his magic ring. Lufia however wears fine cotton or silk dresses often light shades o violet or blue tied with gold rope made of cotton. She doesn't believe in shoes or undergarments, but still wore light armor during the war.

Bio: At the age of 20 Equ had to enter training for his career, he chose to be a warrior and trained in thepanform martial arts. He fell in love with the daughter of the head master that oversaw his training, and was allowed to court her after completing his training. He married her and received a dowry, a magic ring to start him on his way to happily ever after. That is when things go wrong. He doesn't talk about the events but they can be summarized as the death of his wife, the acquisition of a scar, and leaving his home land forever.

Equ then became a hunter and traveled fairly deep into human lands. When he felt he traveled enough he became a young boy and apprenticed under a carpenter, he was very content but was found out and fled shortly before completing his apprenticeship and became a traveling hunter again. 22 years ago Equ came to Treimok and became a carpenter once more. Unfortunately the people didn't need another carpenter of his level of skill. A year later he tried plan B and declared he was leaving. A week later an attractive 19 year old human girl came to town and started working at a local tavern. Shortly there after she married the taverns owner but continued her work.

Six years later Equ's husband and the townsfolk rebelled against the king and queen. Equ was with her husband and the rebels, when he saw how bloody and serious the crowd was Equ fled and shortly their after the crowd turned on themselves. Equ found the princess and fleeing and joined in the event. Shortly there after Equ reveled himself to her and the two created Lufia the Elven girl Soyls met in her travels. Equ has been loyal to her ever since.

The characters who know Equ is Equ are: Soyls, the king, and the captain of the guard.

Reason for Joining/Opposing the Quest: Lufia is a servant of Queen Soyls BaelaWeulf, but more importantly Equ is found of her and wants to see her live to old age.

" Bio " From birth I was trained as a Druid Priest by my father and his father and the Elders of the Mountain Clans. The use of a Druid Priest's staff and of spells and magic. Since my people also needed fighting men, I was also schooled and trained as a warrior. The double blade Axe, The Bow and The Sword. The Sword was my favorite and was also my best weapon besides my Staff. I had been in many battles and the Warriors of my Clans would follow me into battle. They trusted my leadership and Skill. I but wounder why! The Sourece of Darkness forces have driven us from our home and our mountains. My people have suffered great looses and less then half of us remain.

" The Reason for joining " For my people, to defend those that remain and to return them to their home in our mountains. To do this, "The Sourece of Darkness" must be defeated. And so I have joined this company in it's quest.

Age:22 (passes for 22, is actually in his early 30's.... and won't reveal his real age)

Race:Human

Allignment: Neutral

Weapons: Therin's main weapon used is a nearly antiquated short sword. It has been in his family for generations, and has always served the king faithfully. He also carries a shortbow, and a quiver of arrows, along with several small daggers.

Skills: Therin is an outdoorsman, and has always had a way with animals. He is a skilled hunter and tracker, as such he can move nearly undetected. As a youth he would test his mettle against nature by setting out into the wilderness for weeks at a time, carrying only his sword, bow, and a bedroll.

Appearance: Therin is 5'9" 185 lbs with a slightly broad, but muscular build. This is offset by his lithe body. He is a natural athlete, and excels in all things physical. Therin has long, curly chestnut-colored hair that hangs freely onto his shoulders. He has bright green eyes, a strong chin, and a constant covering of light stubble on his face.

Apparal: Therin wears a well worn and well-fitted suit of leather armor while on the battlefield, and at other times wears simple clothing in earthen tones, as well as a forest green cloak.

Bio: Therin grew up in the countryside outside of the Kings castle. His father and the other farmers in the area were often the first line of defense against invading pests and even armies until the alert could be sounded for the King's armies. He is the youngest child, and most of his family was taken by plague. Since then Therin has been working as a sort of mercenary. He has enlisted to work as guards for nobles, as well as escorts for caravans travelling through the woodlands. He has also worked for many "shadier" employers who found great need of his stealth.

Reason for Joining/Opposing the Quest:
Therin's family has been loyal to the throne for countless generations. As soon as the call for help was sounded, Therin jumped at the opportunity to prove himself to his King.
