Bloodstone is based in a haunted house set on a small isolated island. The entire island is the property and grounds of the house.
Players are humans trapped by a storm that has washed out the road. It has also uprooted an old oak tree on the grounds. Under the roots of the tree are revealed human remains, the only clue as to the owners identity is a bloodstone ring. At that time strange things begin to happen in the house and the surrounding grounds.
The place is riddled with hidden doors, cellars, rooms, attics etc. The aim would be that the players have to find who/what/why/where/how the person died, and the ghost of the dead person is trying to help them so that their spirit can be avenged.
I'm the Ghost/s and another player is the murderer, but the murderer will act just like another player pretending to be trying to solve the mystery.
It is late 1800's so power and telephone have only just been invented, and unavailable in this area, so cant call for help, and forensic analysis is pretty difficult to say the least..
You are a human guest in a newly purchased and not fully rennovated mansion home turned hotel/inn. Use your detective skills, try to unveil the murderer, and figure out the story.
This is a bit of a cross between Cludo and early computer adventure games.
If you wish you can team up with other players to try and solve the mystery. Occasionally I may have to draw your attention to something in your vicinity.
This ISN'T going to be "invitation only" - it will be open to all, but PLEASE let me know who you are here before posting in the main thread. No were, vampires, zombies, magic allowed.
