Neale and I have come up with an idea for a thread and would like to know how many people will be interested. We are going to build a story around some earth people who are captured and put through a series of mutations to give them 'super powers'. The reason why this is done is the aliens, who are not from our universe, need some champions to fight a menace that has killed all of their champions. Those left on the alien world are not biologically fit for the mutations so they picked a species that is...OURS.
There will be a series of four mutions for those who choose to accept the challenge and excitement will occur between these mutations so dont think that it will be dull. Also, Neale and I will not be taking any of the major chars...we will fill in for any of those who interact with the chars. Also, we will tell you each what mutations happen to you...then you can work within those mutations. We are thinking that if anyone quits or dies....the powers of that person will be transferred to another. More to come on that later.
Another thing, let your chars enjoy a range of emotions at the mutations. You are, in fact, being mutated without any choice. It's going to happen whether you like it or not. You all dont have to be thrilled or you can love the fact of the power.....but playing it real will only enhance the thread.
We hope you will join and enjoy this thread. Just post your stats for your 'human' char and whatever job they do on earth and, when we have enough, we will start.
