My Empire Records thread desperately needs players, if anyone's interested. If you've seen the movie and would like to be a part of this thread (it should be fun ) PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE post there ( http://www.literotica.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=33768 ) or email me (You can just use the little icon thingy below). The role of A.J. has been given to ariosto (though he'll be away for a bit), but I'd love to find people to play the other characters. Most are quite unique, and some have chemistry between them that could create some interesting scenes. Also, if you'd like to play someone in the movie who isn't listed in the intro, that should be fine too. Just let me know Thanks so much!

Also, I'm thinking of starting a thread based on a TV series (especially if the Empire Records one doesn't work out). I'd love to do Freaks and Geeks, but I doubt many people would be interested in that. So I was thinking the Wonder Years or That 70's Show. Have either of those been done on here? Would anybody be interested? Again, please post or email me with any feedback you may have. Thanks again!

Yay! We finally have enough people to actually start the Empire Records thread Most of the really main characters are taken, but there are still plenty of available roles, and I think they would be a lot of fun. Here's an updated list of characters up for grabs...

Empire Records employees:

Mark (Ethan Randall/Embry)... ummm, goofy.

Warren (Brendan Sexton III)... newest store employee... ex-convict (attempted to steal cd's)

Other Characters:

Joe (Anthony LaPaglia)... store manager.

Rex Manning (Maxwell Caulfield)... washed-up rock star... not that it's very likely that he would come back after that embarassing "Why don't you all just... fade away" exit.

Jane (Debi Mazar)... Rex Manning's ex-assistant... has shown obvious interest in Joe.

In case you haven't been reading, this thread takes place at "Jasmine's," a nightclub of the 1920's. It's full of film-noir action with dames, gangster, corrupt cops and the like.

OCC: I'd love to have a gentleman play Grant Carrington, a sauve playboy. He is an old friend of Jasmine's, the club owner. He would make a wonderful foil for Bethany. Bethany's character seems like a young Katherine Hepburn, tough and capable, but also beautiful and sensitive. He'd be the kind of man who would find a woman like her fascinating. He's actually visiting on Jasmine's request for just that purpose. Our little club owner wants to play matchmaker.
