OOC and Casting DC Universe

This is the OOC and casting for the DC Universe SRP. I know that there are plenty of xmen, xforce and other marvel threads but I was wondering if anyone would be interested in doing a DC one. You could pick from the likes of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman ect. If you need some ideas, or dont know much about the DCU then go to dccomics.com

If there is enough intrest then we can start but we need at least 5 or 6 people. Any character is open right now, so lets have some fun with this.

Hmmm... how up to date on the DC universe do you need people to be? Now there's a question. I could certainly play one of various women:

Lashina/Duchess is always fun
Black Canary is a ditzy blonde
Batgirl (post bullet-hole) is a wheelie with attitude
Vixen kicks some mean tush
Zatanna has potential
Catwoman is every guy's wet dream
Raven, before being more or less wiped out, had so much potential
Starfire proves redheads have more fun
Tigra is plainly psychotic
Huntress could be fun
Shado is so sensual, as well as fitting in with any heroes like Batty or Arrow (especially Arrow)
Crimson Fox...
etc..
etc..
etc.

Trouble is, all my knowledge is > 6 years old now.

Whatever your knowledge is is just fine. Personally catwoman would fit in with the young batman. Wonder Woman is still open too though.

Yeah, but I don't have the skinny on the new bat/cat relationship... besides, I just looked up Catty on the DC Universe website, and it looks like they're not even listing the fact that she worked prostitution (brought out in some of the non CC approved books).

OK, will think about who to play.

I would love to play! My personal favorites are the LSH, but being in the 31st century might not be feasible for you guys. Still, imagine what I could do with Triad!

OK, I'll come in as the pussy of the group... er Catwoman that is. She had worked some 'good' roles when she has needed to. Also, if you don't mind, I'm going with the more mature Selina version, where she runs both thievery and prostitution.

Wow this took off quicker than I thought! Ok so a list of all we have so far is.

and myself Ill be Impulse he is 18 of course.

As for a plot, Im not sure yet but the diffrence in time like Triad and Impulse and Batman from the future wont be a problem. Lets try to get as many characters as we can, Im suprised that noone has gone for Batman (bruce), Superman, Green Lantern (with that ring anything is possible) ect.

Ill think of a plot and have it up by tomorrow night, hopefully.

Hey how about I try out Timber Wolf from LSH, and i dont mean the Fuzzball or Wolfman Jack version, but the good old foul mouthed, bad tempred, drug addicted badass from the 80's and early 90's.

Thats fine with me, Timber Wolf is in. Im gonna wait for another day and see how many more we can get in before we start IC, and hopefully by then Ill have some kind of plot.

Plot Ideas

Ok here is my idea for a plot, advice is always welcome and your input is also wanted.

Some members of the LSH are sent to investigate why heroes and villans from 21st century have been transported to a planet where that persons fantasies come true.

I put it like it so it would be easier for new characters to jump in and it also would fit some of the LSH characters in. I may pick up another character like Green Lantern if noone picks him.

So what do you think? If its good we will probally start IC sometime tomorrow if thats ok.
