Ray, sounds good - the only thing I would remind you of is that magic in the world of Amyera is extremely limited. I have described it as folk magic, but by far the best way of thinking about it is "could that be explained by purely natural and believable effects?" If that is answered as a yes, then its available - if not then it's not. Your healing of the woman's bump is presumed to take a few hours therefore - some do disappear extremely quickly if the swelling is treated right, rather than being absolutely instantaneous. Hope that makes sense.

Thought of something, ya said BF that mythical creatures can be real. So like.. Odysy? Were most aren't interested in humans and pans and centrures go after girls? Not that I think many girls would complain much with the lack of men avalable.....

Just a note to Phoenix before I answer lacey's question - this is the place for OOC's please. Keeps the thread clean. Thanks for understanding.

Now, as to Lacey's question about mythic creatures (and other weirdly invented ones), in some ways they are like ancient rome/greece - most people have only heard of them from a man in a pub whose brother had an uncle whose wife had a son who.... you get the idea. They are there, but not in any way common. As to their interest in women instead of men, some are and some aren't. In other words, if you (anyone) need one who IS into women, OR men, that exists in Earth myth or you have made up, and it is logical to meet it, then by all means bring it in. Of course, mythic beasts should not ever be used to tip the balance of power.

LOL it's not a problem. In most ledgens and all mystical creatures, only the gods were interested in tipping power balances. Some were only cursed humans. Madusa being the most commonly known and famous of them, a beautiful woman turned into a monster who's gazed turned peopel to stone.

But she avioded peopel the only time she was invovled is if someone tried to go to her island.

Centures, Pans, Dyads, Nymphs and such, mostly rumors and seldome seen or whatever. Centures known for carring off a pretty maid that grabs their attention, Pans for luring girls out for a little fun and games.. but often they aren't even aware it happens. Only as a 'dream'. I'm nto talking the herculise style thing, were they are in every tavern and such you come by, just 'are we gonna make use of them?"

Thanks for answering that.

The in thread was a screw up.. meant it to be here. See how I am. *L

Welll Mira, *s*, I was talking to you and even if a free woman I can't imagine you just walking away from your King and employer without his leave.
Day off or not he is the King and you are in his guard.
Thoughts? Comments?

lol easily done. She excused herself and left. She didnt say where she was going or she wouldnt be back.
And yes a free woman would do that. Considering she has never been a slave and she IS captain of the guard, she is strong self assured woman and will do what she needs to do. :)

LOL well your guy pissed her off P. LOL my gal would .. oh wait.. no my gal would have pulled a knife on him and thretten to take off his balls...

Hmm guess my opinion doesn't matter in this one *chee*

And it was a deffinate way to move the plot forward with some interesting plot

As you wish, but I have a hard time visualizing someone just walking away from the King... as he talking and without answering.

Well now things get interesting I guess. I hope lots more join the thread or it's gonna be very hard to find you again since multi characters are a good idea.

Back to the thread for me to reread and post. *s

See thats another thing. I posted Mira excusing herself. NOT asking permission.
See the difference?

Of course she isnt going to wait for permission to leave, hence the word Free Woman. She works for the King because she wishes to. not because she HAS to.

Just menas if he wants his captan back he's gotta go hunting. AS it is.. I'm sure someone would have seen her kidnapping. It's not unreasonable that he might wonder where she went and ask arround. Someone woudl likely have taken notcie...
