In the sig section the board uses REAL HTML instead of vB codes. To put pics in, one does something such as:

<img src="http://www.literotica.com/images/banners/effsml.gif"> and voila, it gets replaced with a pic.

To make a link (on words or pics or whatever) you have to wrap the something in anchor tags. In this example <a href=http://www.ncac.org/>clicking on these words</a> would follow the hyperlink to ncac.org's website.

It doesn't matter if the GIF is animated or not -- the syntax is exactly the same.

The URL of the picture in this syntax CAN be a script that calls a picture -- like the URL of an attachment, for example.
