I got DSL, finally... took ten minutes to get working, after I figured out that I had to disable the firewall for the software to detect it! I also got a DSL router/wireless access point.

It's great.

250Meg in 22 minutes

1.12 GIG in 97 minutes.....

You know what pisses me off the most about this DSL thing.

I bought a computer 2 years ago.. with an internal dsl modem.

I go to get the fucking thing hooked up and my DSL provider said my modem was "to good" for their service. So I had to buy a new (cheaper) modem.
