I've found the best way to meet people on forums is to join in the already active threads and introduce yourself. There are several different forums here including the Playground, the General Board... you just need to find a topic that interests you and dive on in.

If you start off in the playground you'll be welcomed with open arms.

A good place to start, actually, is to post in the am pics forum or the playground. They're generally nice places. People who post pics love good feedback and the playground is a good place to dick around and get to know others. I know it can be difficult as a new poster (we all have to start somewhere).

Not necessarily. I had been on for 2 years before I even stepped foot into the PG for the same reasons. The threads are usually huge and a lot of them are very conversational. Even though I had been on for 2 years, I think I maybe knew one person who posted there. I can go through and recommend a few threads that are a bit easier to just crawl into and say hi, but I do recommend browsing the pic forum (unless you don't want to, because it's not everyone's cup of tea).

i think most people, especially the people who post their pics in the am pic forum, would like to think of it as not satisfying lust..dare i say it's a celebration of the human form..it's definitely not porn..and your in depth description of yourself would convince me that one would expect patience from you..and also that you are aware that getting to know people, ladies especially is a process not to be rushed. I know the frustration that can be felt when you first start posting..a small probability that someone would actually retort and have an interest in what you say. Yet it does happen, there are plenty of people who talk here, and I do think there is a conversational topic for everyone. If you think there isnt a niche for you then start a thread about a subject on your mind. I'd refrain from wandering lonely around the lit personals..people react to originality, and not a tired personal ad.
