Was going through the threads and just noticed the dates for todays posts. August 1st of 2001. That means that it has officialy been one whole year since I originaly joined this board. So much for the "I'll just check this place out for awhile and move on" attitude I originaly had when I first joined this BB huh?

Now, I probably should say something big like I did for my 10,000th post. However, I'm almost half asleep, and I think I'm getting a headache. So you just get this quick post instead.

Happy Lit-Anniversary to me. Dang, I need a new hobby.

Right now I was thinking about all that's happened in the last year I've spent here. When I first joined there were a few people who I quickly became friends with. Now, a year later, most of them are gone or don't come here as often anymore. At the same time, I've made and lost a few friends in the past year spent here. Even made an enemy or two along the way. It's weird what happens when you hang around this place for a long period of time.

Speaking of old age: Anyone else notice that I stoped posting as much around the time that I reached my 20th birthday? It sucks being old.

Renegade, Yesterday was the late Jerry Garcias birthday. I am honoring it with what are Terrepins (tortises) which were the inspiration for the song Lady with a fan/Terripin Station.

This and a turtle with a tamborine graced the cover of the 1977 albumn Terripin Station, go figure.

And I like the tamborine turtle better then the other you had right now. Thing is, I really need to get a scorecard to keep track of all the avatars you switch around with.

Those three and a few others. But I suck with titles unless someone names the song for me. Most of the time, I have trouble finding out about different songs unless it's from the radio or Mtv. Then, I hear the other songs only after I buy the cd/record to hear the one I liked. Using Morpheus and Napster (back in the day) have kinda taken care of that these days.
