The way people, not just Americans, but people worldwide responded to the attacks of 9/11/01 will all ways amaze me. If it could be said that any thing good came of 9/11 it was the way people came together, if only for a short time, to help one another.

This brought that back for me.

I'm not going to go into each specific, but the writer started name calling, becoming arrogant, and in total denial. (imho)

He then tries to soften things with humility. I'm sorry, but this is so much more of.....well arrogance of misplaced innocence.

I couldn't read the 'Good Country" part. Sorry.
