One Year Ago Today...

November 3, 2005:

I signed up to Literotica, and within 10 minutes I was cruising the GB and butting heads with Busybody in a political thread.

I submitted "Taste" and the majority of my poetry on the same day.

I read Laurel's sticky for Winter Holiday 2005, and I was thinking over an idea while cursing myself for not joining sooner and missing out on Halloween. "Next year," I said.

I took a wrong turn and ended up in the Personals.

Now:

I've come a long way in the past year, both in writing style and as a person. I've got 3 Ws in my portfolio (which is something I never imagined I could do in the beginning), I've gained a lot of experience with writing for the public, I've gotten my first publishing contract and now I'm starting my career, etc.

Most importantly, I've made some kick-ass friends here. People whom I am honored to know and love. Long live the AH!
