Heteropaternal superfecundation: one set of twins with two fathers. I've used this in a couple of stories. Mom was at a wild party, pulled a train or three, and Zap! Maybe 1/400 of IRL fraternal twin births are such; many now alive qualify. How can this be spun in our tales?
* Twins as half-siblings could go after the other's father without incest.
* Heteropaternal superfecundated triplets, too. Hey, it was a long train!
* If kids were raised separately, they may as well be guilt-free cousins.
* One father is rich. Without DNA tests, how to divide the inheritance?
There's the joke of two business partners fucking their shared secretary. After she gives birth, Joe sadly tells Moe, "She had twins, and mine died." Ha.
I recall a story idea here of a sorceress whose children are each sired by a different demon and who gain dad's demonic powers with adulthood. The idea was that they'd be sequential. Why not birth seven clever devils at once?
Heteropaternal superfecundation (HS) is common in cats, dogs, and bovines. Maybe a humanoid HS mother is one of the cat-people, like C'Mell. Or maybe she's a were-wolf, or were-tiger, or were-bossy.
Or a Mad Scientist or Evil Cabal corrals a woman, harvests ova, fertilizes each via distinct sperm, and implants the batch in her. This isn't even SciFi.
Discuss.
