A large group of conservative christian women who cannot count have taken it upon themselves to clean up today's media.

This skittles ad was enough to make them flip a tit. I think it's adorable.

Other targets... JC penny (for using ellen degeneres as a spokesperson.)

Oreos for this http://www.gopusa.com/freshink/files/2012/06/rainbow_oreo.jpg

The shows 'New Normal, 666 Avenue, Modern family, and Soul man'.

Urban outfitters, for featuring 'profane' shirts on their website.

DC comics for their gay and bisexual superheros

And of course... the liquid plumr ad...

This group is pretty much a joke as they've got not an ounce of clout (we'll hope they stay that way). Not only have they failed to change anything they've set out to change (J.C. Penny ran all of it's Ellen ads), but no one seems to remember that they exist until they pop up and say they're protesting something new. Then everyone pretty much shrugs their shoulders and ignores them.

There are, unfortunately, other conservative groups with far more clout that can scare advertisers and the media from taking chances and having, say, a gay spokesperson for their products, but the million moms isn't one of those groups.

I hear HObby LObby has a gay spokesperson for their new line of birth control products....

Dear Readers

3113 et al yap and cackle like America reporters in Germany circa 1932. Hitler was doing poorly in the elections and the reporters pretty much dismissed him as a pathetic lil faggot certain to get his ass kicked by better men if he kept thinking he had any future in politics. How ridiculous he was until the Germans elected him Chancellor a few months later. The American Press couldnt believe anyone took Hitler serious.

The OMM lost some members last year-- even they could not stomach the GOP men's talk about rape and abortion.

You know the Republican's are in trouble when they tick off these "moral" people.
Must... not... politics... talk...

here, let's have pretty pictures instead.

I remember when talking politics is what young people did.

Of course that was back in the 1960s when youngsters thought they could change the world, and in some places nearly did.

But now political parties (not just in the US but in the UK and Europe as well) seem to define themselves by what they are against, not what they are for.

It isn't surprising that politics and politicians have become so adversarial, and ugly to follow.

And philosophy was high in the spectrum. I took issue with Jean Paul Satre on a number of matter long since forgiven.
WTF was the Walrus advert all about ?

People in my college are confusing being negative with being smart.

They proudly say that they didn't vote, complain about how obama ruined the economy, but romney would have ruined it anyway. Complain about when we are all going to be bankrupt, complain about how the US is going to go through a war and secede into six or seven separate nations.

Then I look around and say, "Guys... I know shit is bad, but am I the only one with any hope for the future?"

And they say yes.

That's kind of ironic because the election before this one it was the college crowd that put Obama in.

They didn;t care about his lack of experience, the fact he had no plan, no agenda, the fact his entire platform was pretty much, "well, why not me?"

What they cared about was wouldn't it be "cool" to have the first black president?

So for those in your school who are not happy with him, tell them to blame the graduating class before them.

Its too bad that crowd didn't think it would have been "cooler" to have the first woman president. Hilary would have done better than this clod for sure.

I do talk politics; on facebook, twitter, huffpost, Salon, Daily Kos, my representatives offices, a million places -- I try to take a break from it here. There will be unrelenting campaigning from now till the midterms... :(

For those not in the know, that blue thing? Is a feeldoe. Half of is is inside her pussy. :catroar:

I'm still trying to figure out if that idiotic vacant look on her face is a turn on or turn off.

Maybe it would depend on my mood at the time.

If the employees in my local grocery store looked the way the men in the ad do, I'd build a bedroom in the storeroom and never leave. :catroar:

You DO realize that both those dudes were gay and were actually giving the eye to each other, right? :D
