One last screw before the bombs fall

Saw a tweet being anxious about certain current political situations: “so are the bombs falling? Should I even go to work?”

Which gave me an idea: the warnings go off, the missiles and bombers are armed and everyone is fucked…so why not get one last fuck in? Who is it going to be? What if you’re stuck in work or traffic?

Of course to add some levity, maybe that’s just part 1 and then part 2 is set after it turns out to be a false alarm or some freak intervention saves everyone and now everyone has to live with the consequences

I think traffic orgy would have the most potential: people from different walks of life all realizing they aren’t getting out so they decide to have one last screw on an overpass or freeway.

Like convent nuns see the driver of a prison transport ditch his charges so they bust into the bus and free the convicts telling them they should be free in their last moments but if they wanna experience some intimacy and kindness before they go, the nuns are more than willing to provide that.

Or lawyers who were at each other’s throats in court realize they have no way of making it back to their homes so they decide to fuck each other.

A slow burn with a couple of people continuously meeting in the Tel Aviv basement bomb shelter over the course of a weekend.

Lots of potential.

A car full of best girlfriends who had been on their way to the beach, stuck behind a firetruck...

Two cops in their squad car, partners for years, finally tasting the forbidded fruit...

Two MILF friends who had been out shopping together, turn and look at one another...

... and then it turns out to be a big hoax. Anti-AI activists used an LLM to take over the broadcast networks and deepfaked the announcers and reporters. That's the entire disaster. Now what?

I actually love this, it could be so sweet and sad...

Some of the prisoners are just creeps that want to get off, and the sisters of mercy are willing to do that as a last act of sacrificial charity. Even the rough ones that want to be mean, they accept them with grace.

But others just want a woman to hold them. They're deeply touch-starved, scared, lonely... One of the prisoners starts crying when a plump, matronly nun embraces him, and they simply spend their last moments cuddling each other.

Another prisoner, the youngest guy, is too shy to ask for attention. Two older nuns take him into hand and make sure that he's loved and taken care of. 😭

Yeah. I figured even if there’s some creeps mixed in, the final scene is the sisters clinging onto the convicts, soothing them and telling them they are forgiven inbetween their sobs and as a final act of mercy to all of them, they are so caught up in this moment of compassion that they don’t even feel fear as a bomb goes off over them.

Course if you want it to go the fake out route, once they realize the bombs aren’t falling, the bus drivers come back with a police escort but when they arrive, the convicts are sitting peacefully with the nuns who explain with smiling faces (though their words are pure Catholic Guilt makers) that they saw their poor brothers had been locked away in a hot bus so the nuns tended to them and the convicts kept them safe (if you want some villains, maybe the creep convicts took off and they don’t get the same treatment I. The epilogue)

Bus drivers get dragged and a write in campaign starts for the convicts who stayed, with only the sisters and the convicts knowing what really happened. While they all feel a bit foolish, that moment of compassion is something they reflect on.
