Okay.. how long can one wear a buttplug safely/comfortably? Not necessarily a big one and I'm not looking at a marathon stretch here. Besides the obvious, does it interfere with any mundane daily activities? Sitting at a desk and working for instance?

Feedback anyone? I've never tried it but I'm curious. I'd particularly like to hear from other men, especially re: the prostate.

Thanks.

The longest time you can wear a butt plug in your anus is the length of time you are comfortable with. Especially if it's not overly large...

Daily activities should most likely be fine while you are wearing one. You may want to experiment when you are not at work, though, to help you get used to it. You wouldn't want to be in the middle of the work day and need to go "number two" and not being sure what to do with the toy in the meantime. And, if you are a woman, you'd most likely need tight muscle control to keep the plug in when going "number one". Also, make sure to wear underwear so the plug can't slip out and fall to the ground during the day!

Just some things to think about... :)

OMG B.B.!!!! What a picture THAT gave me!! :p I couldn't help laughing at the image. Almost sprayed coffee all over my screen. Thanks for the laugh this morning.

Sorry Riboos, didn't mean to take away from such a serious query, I have a warped sense of humour at times. But in response, I think B.B. has pretty much stated the answer. Good luck in your quest.

-kym- Still chuckling at the image

all interesting questions -- let me know how you do. my gf and i are wondering the same type of things!

and here's one more....are they all made of the same material? is one type better than another?

One day while driveing to work I saw a buttplug and a brown paper bag lying in the street (residential neighborhood). Had a visual of exactly this happening. Some poor subbie neighbor lady out for her morning jogging.

Just like vibrators and dildos, there are various colors, shapes, sizes, and materials used to make them. :)

Men, correct me if I'm wrong, but don't they make straps that will actually hold a butt plug/dildo in place while you're doing day to day activities?

And yes, what B.B. said. :)

Thanks for the responses

No.. I'm quite interested in what everyone has to say or what experiences they've had.. come on.. there's got to be some guys out there that have tried this.

Don't be shy!

You are correct Wyn
One note, from experience making subs wear then for extended periods
it can be a good idea to re-lube it occasionaly or there can be some discomfort from movement or trying to remove it

Oh yes, throughout the day, it can dry out, thereby making it difficult (or painful) to remove.

Don't get one that is too small, if you do it won't stay in. Look at the Doc Johnson's Medium It may take a little to get it in the first time but it will stay in place for as long as you want it to. I concur about the relube however, if you use enough the first time you probably won't need to relube. Might also be a good idea to get an anal desenitizing lube to make things go a little easier.
Good Luck!

Not really.

Pain is nature's way of saying something is not quite right. If you use something like AnalEze, you'll lose some feeling in your anus. It will be like getting a shot of Novocain at the Dentist. You'll be numb.

Now, I'm sure everyone has bitten their tongue, or maybe even the inside of their cheek, or lip, before the Novocain wears off. Had your mouth not been numb it would hurt...a lot. You may even notice you made yourself bleed.

Well, if you try any form of anal play with a desensitizing lube you could be hurting yourself badly without even knowing it. If you use standard lube, possible pain will tell you that you are using too large of a toy or that you are pushing yourself too fast!

Something to think about.

100% correct.....most of the pros &educators in the field reccomend against desensitizing creams for anal becuase of the injury risk

And, if you're having anal sex the man's penis will become numb too.

As stated try it at home first before venturing to far.

BUT now I have a question is it just the standard type or a vibrating butt plug. ?????

A very good point and any lube you use MUST be a water based one.

And it looks great in the pic posted in your & AKASHA'S thread.

PM me and let me know where you got it PLEASE as the ones I have do vibrate but they tend to push out to easy and it frustrated the hell out of my former sub...........

Not if you and your partner don't have to use condoms together.

Even still, its more to do with hygiene and comfort and alergies...

Silacon based is best, then water, then oil......

"usually"

:)

Most of the good sites on health & anal play reccomend water or silicone because other lubes tend to leave lingering traces that can end up harboring bacteria & promoting infections
So condoms aside it's still not a good idea to use them :D

We seem to agree aa lot James, this is a worry for me, I like being unique! :)

Would you walk funny while having a butt plug in you? I've always wanted to try but was always worried I'd look like I had something stuck up my ass.

I stand corrected.

I've never actually used baby oil as a lube, though. It stayed on the outside of the body. ;)
