On Wearing An Ankle Bracelet

I'm curious about whether it's only a story, or if there's a similar meaning in the real world.

anklets are worn on both ankles. However, outside India most anklets seem to be worn on the right ankle. Perhaps this is due to more people being right-handed. Although in eastern cultures, anklets are worn on both ankles
Really it depends on if the chain around her ankle symbolizes her being owned by her man. Some started out being big and heavy. Really now it makes no difference.
Its all in how ever you want to interpret the meaning.

My wife has a tattoo on her right ankle,looking like a bracelet of roses. I doubt she would give it significance to ownership,LOL

Ah, but if it's a fictional story that doesn't mean it is true in real life, of course! Any of the above interpritations are "correct". And any other interpritations that come into the thread are correct. There's some folklore behind anklets. There's some cultural and even religious relevance to anklets. Some are "kinky" and "fetishy", others not.

Is a choker necklace a collar? No. Not necessarily, anyway. But it can be. Are some collars pretty and jewlery? Yes. Again, it's all interpritation.

I don't think an ankle bracelet has to be of metal all the time. For example, the AV of Boundlife has this feet with a ribbon bracelet. I have no idea if it is actually her feet, or if she wears it regularly, but that is very sexy as well.
