Ah, I was careful not to mention whether I was posting while driving or not!RomyDelaney said:I assume you weren't posting whilst driving.![]()
That sounds like the kind of toy I would love although I'm not sure about taking it to work. I'd never get anything done.
I expect they're expensive are they?

Etoile said:Yup. It's a hiptop (more commonly known as the T-Mobile Sidekick). I love that thing. Now I can keep up with Lit all day, even while I'm at work!
Kind of - I'm not 100% sure of all the features a Blackberry offers. Do they do web browsing too?Miss Diva said:Is that like a Blackberry?

They can be expensive. The original black-and-white model is going for about $50-60 on eBay, and I got my color model (still the original format) from there for $120 with some goodies thrown in. The new model (Sidekick II) retails for (I think) $200 but it can be had more cheaply (or sometimes free) if you sign up for a service contract....
The ones you have seen in T-Mobile stores are the second model, the Sidekick 2. I have the original version - Sidekick 1.5 if you will. (Sidekick 1 was black and white, Sidekick 1.5 and Sidekick 2 are color.)A Desert Rose said:I've seen these in the T-mobile store. They look really neat but the price is prohibitive for me. How did you get it so cheaply on ebay? Did you have to bid on it?
*highfive!*ObsidianBttrfly said:I also have the Sidekick II, its awesome. Like you Etoile, I like being able to surf Lit at work ;o) Love my Sidekick ;o)
