I hate that feeling or state of affairs.

The funeral of an aquaintance of mine is this afternoon. He served in my old Regiment. He died "unexpectedly" in Belfast N.I. last week, which raises certain questions for me.

In lieu of the responses i've been getting, questions I shouldn't be asking. Responses that have ranged from "Fuck off" to "Don't know" to "You know better".

Fuck. I really miss being "in the know" when it comes to my second family or anything else.

"Sully" was an incredible guy. An outstanding athlete and a soldiers soldier.

Pro Patria my friend.

im very sorry ... i had a friend that nearly died a few years ago and it was very strange and upsetting not being a family member but still caring alot about this person

she was ok in the end though

I think you really already have your answer then, even though it may not be the one you wanted.

Sorry to hear about your loss. Friends are particularly hard, they remind us of our own mortality more than anything I know since they are usually close to our own age.
